Exactly. There's no way a little cat thing would have more HP than a big dragon thing(Charizard ex/Salamence ex). There's a reason why Wailord ex has so much HP(Health/hit points). It's a WHALE.
 
You guys 170 hp doesnt mean nothing either it could be the junkyist card maybe it only does 10 damage! then does 50 to it self maybe it a defense pokemon that has weak attack and does great for poke powers.

I reiterate its not about how powerful 170HP would make it but the fact that its so far out of the boundaries of an Espeon's usual HP.

For example, some ascending HP EXs:
Magcargo 80HP, Magcargo ex 100HP
Deoxys 70HP, Deoxys ex 90-110HP
Crobat 90HP, Crobat ex 130HP
Blaziken 100-110HP, Blaziken ex 150HP
Charizard 120HP, Charizard ex 160HP

Then....
Espeon 80HP, Espeon ex......... 170HP?

And besides I think that is not a 7 in the TCG font, compare it to the Feraligatr ex pic below on the official site. Make 'em the same size, tilt them make them the same resolution and you'll see the one on the Feraligatr bends back sooooooo much more.

It even looks a bit like a 2 if you look carefully......

to back this, i have devised a tiny little thing...ok some examples of hp -->to ex hp

Venusaur
base set-100HP
expidition-100HP
Erikas-90HP
EX-150 HP
about a 1.5x jump each time

Blastoise
base set-100HP
expidition-100HP
EX-150
about a 1.5x jump each time

Charizard
base set-120
shining-100
EX-160
about a 1.5x jump each time

Espeon
neo-80
about 1.5x bigger
100-130 HP for EX

no frekin way is the ex espy gonna be at 170...thats about twice as large!!! if it as 170, nintendo should be shot.

Wailord had the highest amount of HP a non-ex could have. Wailord EX had the highest HP a EX could have. It make sense for that to happen as Wailord in the GBA game has an insane amount of HP. Espeon does not have an insane amount of HP, and it's SS version doesn't have anywhere near the highest amount of HP a non-ex would have. 170HP, higher than every EX but 1, is just too illogicial.
 
Only because it is a whale. You know, those slow huge things. But that makes you wonder how come Slaking doesn't have that much, or even Snorlax, but oh well.

Will you stop arguing whether it is 110 or 170. The HP on Espeon EX will be revealed, eventually. Dom Jordan, give me a picture where it says 110. In my opinion, it is 170.

Now, that pic may be true. But how do we know. Maybe it was released to make some excitement. Perhaps when they released the pic, they never noticed it said 170 and that it was a printing error. We don't know.

It could be errata'd, if need be, or the card could be, Espeon does __ damage to itself. And it would be discard energy. Or maybe the body is it has to attack with at least _ Pokemon on the field. Remember TM Groudon and TA Kyogre? That is my point.

And even so regular Wailord's HP is only 120 because that is the "max" (well, at least it has been since the TCG started for non-ex). Wailord would probably have like 150 if possible.

It doesn't have a Poké-Body.

Enter the site, scroll down and find the picture of espeon Ex next to the booster with the HO-HO and Lugia on it. It should be in the middle. Right click it and save it to pictures then enlarge it.

i say it's 170 cuz when you copy and paste it into like word or something and blow it up it looks like 170.....not too hard to see
