ok i stopped playing when B&W 1st came out but now i wanna play again so what are the good cards and the top decks and good sets/starter decks to get thanx guy

Major archetypes being looked at for the new format: Garchomp/Altaria, Darkrai EX with all sorts of stuff, Darkrai and Hydreigon, and Eelektrik along with various electric attackers.
Good cards that would've come out since you disappeared would include Dark Patch, Eviolite, N, Max Potion, Level Ball, Ultra Ball, Crushing Hammer, Enhanced Hammer, Random Reciever...
I stopped around the same time as you and this is what I've found out. I don't know much of anything about starter decks though. The Researching Tower is your friend.
