Gift Tin EX's damaged!! WHY!!!!

So I recently brought one of the recently released gift tins which have either a Ray, Groudon, or Kyogre EX. I brought the Kyogre ex and when I opened it, it was damaged. All the ex tins I brought before were perfectly fine, and there did not seem to be anything wrong with the one I brought recently. Is there anyway to get a replacement ex or report the damaged promo? It kinda sucks since these ex's are considered collectors items I was really hoping to only need to buy one of each. :frown: :frown:

That is not right Krucifier

Charizardmastertrainer: Just report to POP and they can look into it.

And btw, shouldn't you have three losses for psychosis against RaiEggs?

I had several tins with damaged (bend) Promocards.
It's bad luck and waisted money, took me 5 tins to get 3 undamaged cards.

I dont know what email addy it is, but there is a way to send damage cards that are str8 from packs and have them sent a perfectly mint version, I dont know the exact method, since nintendo was handling it before and now they arent, I beleive.
This is something that you should as PUI/POP about so they can direct you to the right person/method,
Drew

When I had a major problem with messed up cards from the Deoxys set -- there were a bunch of them -- Pokemon USA (PUI) was very helpful. Their e-mail is listed on the contacts page of the "organized play" site (here).

This was the information I still have written down from almost a year ago:

Nintendo of America (spoke to Norma & Ray)
(800) 255-3700
Mail cards to "Pokemon Replacement"
3871 S. Alston Ave, Durham, NC 27713

Note: You'll need a "reference number" (by calling them) before they send replacements.

I don't think the Nintendo of America info is good to use anymore, though!

Remember, PUI took over distribution this year, so NOA is out of the picture.
Contact PUI for direction on how to get a replacement. It might be in the small print of a pack. Don't have one with me to look at right now.

Thanks...I'll try to check it out, but I need to find my empty booster pack. Do you think the info might also be on the OP site or TCG site?? I'm checking but I dont know where it is.

Ya know, the damaged ex's could be the retail store's fault. At Targt, I took a close look at the ex's through the window in the tin. A few of the ex's were kind of bent. I was lucky to find a one of each ex that wasn't bent or damaged.

I have bought one too. I was Kyogre Ex. Its was 1/4 bent on the left side straight down. It seem they where not in the center like the rest.

Yeah, thats how mine was. Like I said, the tin was not opened and completely wrapped, tightly secure. When I opened it, the promo was a bit off to the edge and part of the right side was bent. I immediately put it in a card sleeve and in a empty deck box (probably should have put it in a binder to prevent it from getting out of shape). I did not notice anything wrong with it until I opened it. I dont think it was the stores fault, it just was not secured to the center when it was packaged.

Just got a an email from customer service and they let me know that I will be able to get a replacement, but that I would need to send them my damaged EX, which I will do so happily...kinda feels like a trade....*bye bye Kyogre, please take care of it for me*
Anyway, I would like to thank Mr. Larry Weiner for letting us know where we should report this info too, I hope it helped and thank them for replying in nice orderly fashion, I have a pretty busy week so, I will send them my damaged card during the weekend. Props go to all those who helped out....hoping this all helped you out too.
