Giratina let loose

May I put Giratina PT on the bench from my hand, put 1 energy to watever pokemon I wish (or just play cards from my hand) AND use Giratina's Let Loose Poke Power? Does that wording mean immidiatelly or not?

Any time a Poke-Power says that you can use it "when you play [the Pokemon] from your hand", it means that you have to do it before you move on to any other game action.
If you do some other game action such as playing an energy card, then you have lost the ability to use that Power.
