Well... here it is. 8 common Basic Pokemon are the only Pokemon in this deck. It's an all-or-nothing rush to get a first-turn-Knock-Out.

Gligar is capable of knocking out Holon's Castform, a very common starting Pokemon, during your first turn for one Fighting Energy. If it has no Energy on it, it can retreat for free.

Magby, the other starter, does 10 damage for one Colorless, but causes auto-burn if Full Flame is in play.

This deck does better going second if you start with Magby and either an Energy card and Full Flame, or Castaway, or first with Gligar and a Fighting Energy card in your hand.

I'm not sure if ER2 and Pokemon Reversal are the best way to go in this deck; I was thinking something along the lines of an Energy-getter and possibly Dual Ball.

This deck sounds fun (LOL @ dead Castform T1) but weak in the endgame. It doesn't have much for stopping decks like Bandoom, RaiEggs, Metanite etc. from getting setup; you're relying on gimping their start.

Add Cessation Crystals to ruin their setup, and Latios ex d (maybe Latias d too) since you need a Safeguarder for ex-heavy decks.

EDIT: If you want, this could be an all-basic Super Stantler variant.

I know. I know this is very, VERY weak endgame. I've considered Latios ex d, but I'm not sure if I want to risk reworking the Energy; I have very, very consistant startups with this, but it does work very nicely with LNS. Cessation Crystals also seem very tasty; any suggestions of what to scrap?
 
the only problem is HP. The max in the whole deck is 50. Also i don't believe that you need anywhere close to 4 Mentors and 4 great balls. 4 Scotts is also overkill for only playing 4 stadiums. Using 18 Energies in this deck is overkill because the max energies you need for the entire deck is 8. I would just go with 10 and play a Mr. Stones Project. You should put in some Mary's Requests to give you some more supporters.
 
:D this deck looks fun, but trust me, there are much more fun ways of having fun then this.

PM me for the "secret uber-fun actually does well late game fun" fun deck.

The maximum is 70 HP, actually. The Energy is for Energy consistency. The statistics are in my favor of having AT LEAST 1 Energy T1. Scott helps in the worst case scenario I need to hold out for about 3-4 turns to knock out my opponent's Pokemon; I'm assuming that they won't be able to get more than 4 in play when blitzed. Mr. Stone tried to kill my friend in one of his dreams, so I can't use him. I can't believe I forgot Mary's Request though. Out go the TVRs.

Very interesting... not as fast, but much better midgame. This is more of an insane blitz than a viable long-term deck.
 
take out 1 scott and 2 energy root because I think your pokemon are still OHKO'ed by every good deck and put in some cessation crystal.

I love you too. xP Yeah. The Energy Root are in case, for some reason, I need to hang around for one more turn, so I can Castaway grab it.

Your Castaway engine would fetch you a strength charm - (10+10)x2+10 = 50

Nice idea, I guess the title says it all. It's just it's so situational to actually win a game :(

I agree but I saw a successful First Turn Hitmonchan boost deck for 50. They do work but relying on going second (for the castaway and stop them mentoring) is the real gamble or the gamble is the burn check but still there's one thing I adore about it :clap:

Stubborn players like me who win consecutive tournaments and think they're it :biggrin: can't stand up to it with a lone start! Great work :thumb:
 
Thats the old problem though, it's a gamble, on a gamble on a gamble :( You need everything to go right. Then again this is the sort of deck that'ld easily catch me out - I almost always start with somthing lone to prevent abuse of Reversal/Warp etc as a matter of stratergy. This sort of thing would get me :D
