Gold and Silver Remake?! EDIT: NOW CONFIRMED.

It's already been given a September Japan release date. I believe that DP and Platinum had similar Japanese release dates, and those games came out in the Spring here. I have little doubt that will happen again.

No matter when the release is, this is one of the biggest Pokemon VG releases in a while, even over Platinum, and D&P!

Guys, give me some credit will ya? Every body knows the release date is sept 11 for japan right? We all agree on that much. Visit ign.com and look at HG SS, you'll see that they have the release date listed for December 31, 2009. While it does also say right under that release region: Japan, I only figured that since the release date for japan is sept 11 then dec 31 must be our release date. I didn't just pull a date out of nowhere to start a rumor, I don't do that kind of thing. Check it out for yourselves. Again all I did was reason that if sept 11 is the JPN relese date, then the dec, 31 listed release date must be for us.

GSC were the best pokemon games until DPP, imo. Being able to go back to Kanto and get the previous 8 badges made the game amazing, because RBY and RSE got boring as heck after you beat the E4.

IGN did that because the game would be released in 2009(in japan)so they went with the latest possible date. Of course that isn't up to date, since it will be released before.
