Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

????? - Good Typhlosion Decks?

I think the best goof "Typhlosion" deck was 4 Cyndaquil, 56 Fire Energy. You Beat the opponent turn 1 every game!

Serious suggestions only please. Also, I've edited the thread title to make sense.

~Thanks for the title change ;)

Lots of fire decks/pokemon require discarding fire eneregy so typhlosion is a good tech to put in said decks to get these energies back in play (Charizard is probably the most popular/competitive deck that can utilize typhlosion effectively)

Charizard with Ninetales HGSS for draw power and then have Typhlosion Prime attach the energy. Probably the most effective deck with Typhlosion.

I run a Typhlosion Prime variant for fun. It's really my sister's deck, but I play with it on RS for lolz.

You use this Typhlosion as your main attacker (http://pokegym.net/forums/view.php?pg=towercard&imageid=49765). The idea of the deck is to use "Afterburner" to acclerate energy onto Typhlosion, making its attack more easy to use. You discard energies by using this (http://pokegym.net/forums/view.php?pg=towercard&imageid=49873) Ninetales. Roast Reveal provides fodder for Afterburner and it also is your primary draw engine, although I run both Felicity's Drawing and Uxie to help get things moving a bit more. The deck's main offensive is Typhlosion Prime's "Flare Destroy". This lets you discard an energy attached to your opponent's active. You can normally disrupt your opponent by doing this, discarding something like a Double Colourless Energy, a Special Metal Energy or a Call Energy. It also discards an energy attached to you, but Afterburner soaks it back up again. The deck also has great late-game capabilities. If you have 2 Typhlosion Prime in play, you can essentially attach 3 energy a turn, allowing you to fully charge up a pokemon that's now ready to attack. It also lets you recover your position very quickly if one of your pokemon are KO'd. I use this Typhlosion (http://pokegym.net/forums/view.php?pg=towercard&imageid=49827) as a tech because it can hit for some of the raw damage that Ty Prime lacks. The current incarnation of the deck also runs Nidoqueen RR to heal off the damage caused by Afterburner. It also lets you keep your Typhlosion alive a bit longer by healing it in-between turns.

Hope this helps :thumb:
