Good ways to make your opponent deck out?

Stall strategy interests me more than hitting hard. It seems harder to pull off because cards do hit so hard nowadays.

So I know there's Durants...two different ones that can work. The "weaker" one is more splashable and leaves more room on the field to vary the pokemon.

And I know Hammers can help delay.

And some prevent attacks from the defending pokemon.

Discarding, Energy Removal, Attack Blocking

Are those the three things you want to incorporate into a deck out deck?

What are some good cards that block attacks?

I know Cobalian does it. And I know there are Torment cards that let you pick the attack they can't use. Any worth looking into?

Thanks.

Durant, aggron, weezing and swoobat are the main cards I know of that can cause a deck discard atm.

Durant and aggron have been mentioned, weezing is a ko effect so not really what your looking for, its a spread poke so the discard is just a bonus.

swoobat on the other hand is interesting as the discard total is based on its total :psychic:, so it pairs well with gardevoir, low hp is the main problem for it though (giant cape, plasma badge/umbreon help that though) and high energy dependant

blocking attacks we have cobalion/beartic/accelgor(paralyze) among others but be aware these kind of attacks can be switch/retreated out of and they usually have a turn free of your lock when you ko for a revenge ko

Trap something that can't attack active with something like Corner or Block or Trainerlock and then just wait.

Dialga EX in the next set is going to be sick!!!! Pair that with Porygon-Z and maybe you have a Klinklang-like to move Plasma energy and heal with Max Potion and tank with Dialga while decking your opponent. I call it, next BDIF :)

Hand me a flame shield please :)
