Got A Box of Emerald, Here Is 100% Official Information On The Set

Hey,

Alright, I know there are alot of topics going around, but here is some garunteed accuracies on the set.
How did I recieve a box of Emerald already? I got my delivered to me yesterday when I got home. It is for getting t2 at Worlds. I recieve a box of each set for a year. It came early.

The Box Topper IS FarFetchd. It has 70 HP, weakness to Lightning, Res to Fighting, and has an attack called Spearhead, which lets you draw a card, and an attack for CC that deals 30 and 10 to itself. It has a one retreat cost. It IS Foil.

Many of the spoilers found on the Pokemon site earlier this weak had inaccuracies on attacks. For instance, the one I read stated Rhydon's 2nd attack read CCC-60. It in fact costs CCCC. Exploud has a 4th attack as well, which is not listed. I am not certain of the other errors, but I found those two so far, so others may exist.

I did not recieve any *s, and I do not believe any are in the set as you usually seem to get one per box.

I recieved a total of 10 of the " Matrix " energy. They seem to come about 1 in 3-4 packs.

It seems as if the uncommons are more difficult to get than the rares. Many uncommons were rare to pull ( 1 RC, 2 Battle Frontiers...I pulled 3 of many of the rares ) and I did not pull any copies of some card ( Scott ). The foils, on the other hand, seemed quite well randomized, as of the 12 different ones available, I pulled 10 different ones.

Ouch, lets just hope the Theme decks have them (Scott, BF, but I dont think RC).
 
So did you figure out (for certain) what the holo energy replaces? As I recall, the set description/press release/whatever said one thing, while RainbowGym said another.
 
The odds of pulling a shining (with TRR and Deoxys) in my experience were 1 in 5 boxes actually. So these matrix energies are rare holofoils? And hmm, if battle frontier is as rare as you say, the price of candy will be going down but battle frontier will be wroth quite a pretty penny.

And I must ask, is the quality of this set better than deoxys...

Not that I'm trying to brag, but I was the first person to say it was. It was then confirmed by Rainbow.

Hopefully the deoxys holos SUCKED they looked like theyd been used a million times before u popped the pack
 
He means just get Psychic. Psychic energy, dum de doo, you get it.

Stinks that the energies come like rares in the packs, I would like it if there was 1 in each pack. :D
 
hopefully everyone gets at least one going to a pre.................... Is There A sHining or Not? The quest continues tommorow with the pre's
 
tyranitar666, are you Chris Fulop? Or maybe kevin nguyen? I don't know, but it's an honor to meet you*bows* Kinda stinks that rare candy is as rare as ever.
 
There's no really bad set out there. every set has redeeming cards in it. HL was kind of poopy, but it had steven's, ATM: rock, and medicham(the best darn fighting type available!)

Is it obvious. Does Dragons and Deoxys have matrix energy?
 
How was HL Poopy? Look how much it changed our Format during Nationals and Stadium Challenge's last year....

Remember how dominant Blaziken was? and So-So Gardy upheld?
 
I recieved my box as well! I got the best sportsmanship award. =D I recieved exactly 10 matrix energy in mine,2 exs,2 Battle frontier,1 rare candy,1 Double rainbow energy,and 1 scott. I nearly completed the holo set,(I think I'm only missing the Groudon)but the best uncommon trainers were scarce.Battle frontier/Rare candy/Scott could easily sell for $10 a pop.
