Great Ball Question Again - Same to Holon Mentor?

Similar to the Great Ball question, when I use a Holon Mentor, can I choose not to take any basics even if there are some in the deck (just for the purpose of discarding)? If seems that following the logic for Great Ball, I should be able to do it.

Just want a confirmation.

Yes. It's a general concept that can be applied to any deck search.
