Its hard to tell right now, but seeing as how the first prerelease weekend has passed, anyone notice a trend of the rarities of LV X's?

Well, from what I was told, Palkia and Dialga seem to be a lot more common than Darkrai and Cresselia. BUt that's only the first week of prereleases. The trend could change this weekend.

From the show of hands poll at our first Prerelease this weekend the number of lvX cards puller would seem to indicate that one or two boxes that didn't have a LvX in them. We only saw 1 Darkrai and 1 Cresselia but several Palkia and Dialga.

I would assume it is 1.33 per box, meaning 4 Lv. X per 3 boxes.
I wont know til the release date, but that would be my guess.

Sounds reasonable, I was just hoping for possibly 2 per box. I have over 50 boxes coming in on the release so I'll keep track of what I pull.

At our PR in Indy, every LvX pulled was either Darkrai or Cresselia. We didn't even see Dialga LvX until after people started to get their 2 bonus packs at the end. NO Palkia LvX were pulled. I found this strange. As far as number, we seemed to have a plenty of LvX. I think we opened about 10 boxes, and ended up with 10-12 pulled. It was kind of crazy that day, but that is what I recall.

Well, I think the reason for my logic is the average for sets with only 3 Exs/LvXs have been the following per case -

DS - 6
HP - 6
DP - 6 thru 8
MT - 6

Based on the above it would be logical that you would have 2 boxes have 2 and 4 have 1. I cant be certian as I havent opened anything.

Cuyahoga Falls final number, including prizes:

Palkia: 6 (3 pulled in initial deck building)
Dialga: 2 (There might have been more, but I am not certain.)
Darkrai: 2 (I'm pretty sure this is the exact number)
Cresselia: 1 (I only saw one, again, might have been more.

2 people at my table pulled Palk, myself being one. But I also got a fresh box, sooooo..)

I think Cresselia Lv X was the most common here, and I think maybe 1 Darkrai Lv X? Don't remember if there were any Palkia or Dialga.

expecting that he getting them direct from the factory at $65.00 a box (probably less) multiply that by 50
that's $3250.00 for 50 boxes....
sells the rh at $3.00 each x 36 packs (each pack has a rh card) getting back 108.00/box on just 36 cards out of 720 cards, plus a lvl x in each box at 25.00 each, plus the trainers at $2.00 each, holos at $2.00 each, so lets say the he making a profit of over 100% doubling his cash funds...so actually it's a good investment if you have the funds and the buyers....

There is no way your gonna get 3$ per RH, that woudl be insane. Your also not gonna make 100% back, and 65 is way too low, before they raised the packs it was that low but remember the price per box has gonna up 14.00 since then for MSRP. I think some of your numbers are off. If you can get 25-50% back per box it is a good day.

JMO,

The boxes cost me close to $70 after shipping. For Secret Wonders I more than doubled my money, theres holo,s base sets, rares, commons/unc, RH sets, individual RHs, LV X's, Trainers, ect. If you go about selling them in a good way there's some decent money to be made. The only thing is that its a lot of work to sort everything, if it wasn't so much work I'd do this in much higher volume, but Drew, as you know I have a "better" product than cards available anyway :)

Edit: To keep from going off topic, I was wondering about the LV X rarity since it determines a lot for me as for how sales will be. Even with the rarity assumed from the pre-releases I feel as though it will be a profitable set, namely because of the Pokemon we got (Darkrai, Dialga, ect). A set with legendaries is always a good seller.
