Start with Horsea or spoink. Both cards have attacks that allow them to switch with pokemon on the bench. Aim for a turn 2 Grumpig. Build up kingdra on the bench. Discard water energy in various ways for Kingdra. Also Mewtwo stalls to build up Kingdras and Grumpigs.

This would be VERY hard to pull off, you have NO claydol, which is a big Downfall right there. You need to focus on one or the other, because both discard different Energys, and its hard to make this deck playable!

grumpigs attack is based off the number of energy attached, meaning they could be water energy, making him a decent suicidal pig to get water energy to the discard while dealing damage. Claydol would be big, but the OP is just starting to play, so most of his cards will be comming from the upcomming LA prerelease.

mightyena is better then mewtwo at stalling against basics.
and mr. mime is better then both cuz that requires the opponent to charge up energies to attack mime

take out the mewtwo line and add in 2-2 bronzong line from MT its power is amazing in helping out kingdra
