btw, you never let use guess who was in the commercial.
 
Let's eat yogurt while playing Pokemon! Oops, got yogurt in the holes. Watch as our DS's start to catch on fire. How fun!
 
I don't understand why you'd hate them...

But this isn't a great advertisement ploy. These guys won't appeal to the correct audience.
 
Have you guys actually watched it? I thought it would be cringe-worthy but its actually fine.

It could've been a lot worse...

Isn't the target age for Pokemon kids under the age of 12? Anybody from Disney Channel would work for that. Even *shudder* Miley *shudder*

I wish we could've gotten more awful actors though. Of course, those would have been hard to come by.

No he is going to be on CSI and his new movie.

Anywho back on topic. I really hate this but it is a good marketting ploy by Nintendo. Since many kids watch Disney Channel and Pokemon is more focused towards kids it is a very good idea.
 
Ugh sometimes I get so tired of Nintendo going over the top with trying to market their products to children. IE Having those kids in their commercial and the new POP logo. Sometime I just wanna go back to Magic.
 
I thought a little bit on this later on after making the remark I made earlier. Although I stand by my remark, I thought I would add this.

If the twins play the games in their free time and truely enjoy the games, I do not see a problem advertising. It will show that they do not care who knows they play. Besides, many of the ds players on the pokegym should be able to defeat them in double battles ( pun included )

Now, for Nintendo to seek famouse people to advertise for the Pokemon "community"- great move on their part. It means more competition at the VGC.

Now, on the other hand- if the two have no clue at all about the games and are doing the commercial for the money-
that stinks.

Another thing- Disney should not at all be a part of the two's affilia unless Disney has no problem being a raticate that works for team rocket grunts. Easily defeateable.
