Guilty Pleasures?

Everyone out there must have atleast one guilty pleasure that nobody really knows.
I'll start:
Degrassi. I hate that show, but I love it.:nonono:

Please keep it PG:smile:
 
Yep. Mine would definitely be Pokemon.

Grown folks call me like "Hey, whatcha doin' right now?"

I'm like.... "Well, I'm at the card store with the family looking at Pokemon card singles.. " ...

There's a brief pause
... and an "Ok... Well... I was just thinking ________ " conversation continues...

LOL! :lol:

I think the game is harmless and wholesome. So, this would be my guilty pleasure :)
 
This has some potential to be a great topic. As long as people are posting why something is a guilty pleasure, we'll be fine.


One of my guilty pleasures is the show "The O.C." Back when I was in college, I always watched it, and the year I lived on an all female floor, I always hosted watching parties on Thursday nights, yet none of the girls thought I was the type that would like the show.

Yeah, the shop I worked at had a slogan emblazoned into the hardwood floor, "Welcome to Your New Addiction" and it holds true for probably 75% of everyone who gets the first tattoo that they will be back multiple times.
 
It's tattoos and poker for me. I spend an embarrassing amount of time planning out what tattoos I want, I draw on myself with sharpie to figure out placement and stuff. As a result, though, I don't regret any of my tattoos and I don't think I ever will. As far as poker goes, I play on FullTilt wayyyy too much. I've lost so many days off to it. I try to rationalize it by telling myself it's helping with my math skills and analytical thinking but really I just like the rush of getting good cards. I've noticed it's helped my Pokemon game, incidentally, which is another way I try to rationalize it.
 
I enjoy playing Poker with my friends, but I'm too young to go on those online websites. Hey, I still have a great time with my friends and its really fun. I take guilty pleasure in drinking wayyyyyy too much soda during our games.
 
One Piece. I'm not a big anime person at all, but it's funny and interesting. (And flashy :biggrin:.)

Showtime's Dexter, also. Very macabre...Very interesting...Very...Twisted.

Haha I think you and I would get along very well. I hit up the casino & fulltilt quite often.

It's true. I have 2 full sleeves as well as my wrists done (Im only 22, still have a ways to go), and Im getting my entire japanese back piece done in february. Its addicting as well as gratifying, I love having true art on me for others to see and enjoy, as well as myself. i think that, and definitely the feeling of getting tatted, is what is addicting :thumb:

The physically addicting part is the endorphins your body releases to combat the pain. :D It's like a runner's high.
I'm working on a half sleeve sloooowly. I am super picky! I think I am probably going to get some more work done for christmas. I just got a Sableye tattoo at the beginning of the month, haha. I guess Pokemon is a guilty pleasure too.

My guilty pleasure is Godzilla/Mothra/Gamera Movies! My hubby got me hooked on them, and the newer Ultraman Movies He grew up watching all that stuff, and when all of it became Legit on DVD in the States, he bought it ALL up, now my son and myself are hooked!

Not to mention playing pokemon, collection eeveelutions/bug TCG cards, and being the owner of 1 league and the leader in another.

Lots of Guilty pleasures! LOL
