Well we have 14 people who applied but I dont know what we'll do if we dont get at lest 8 people tested we would have to work that out if that happens but if that happens I dont know if we'll keep on with the GL system just because there wasn't 8 people that was able to do the testing and if they can't find time to try to get tested then who says they'll find time for a gym battle. Other then that idk but thats just my thoughts of what we might do but theres more people that it would have to talk it over.
So in those words anyone that hasn't been tested yet try to get in and set up a time for a tester to test you.

I'll be on for thoughs that still need testing. I'll be checking in from time to time post here or send be a message on my yahoo [email protected] or just IM me and i'll try to get you in for a battle.

Hey everybody. I was just posting to assure everyone I'm still in I'm just training some pokemon. Hopefully a few more days... I'd be done by now but I'm training 6 days a week for my first amature mma fight and I just got a new job. But I'll definately be able to take any gym challenge I think thisll be awesome
 
As of right now- on my own participation- I have had an unexpected death in my family.

I will not be available to perform any testing for the next 3 days at least. I will not be checking in here for at least the next day or so....... I will post in here as soon as I am more clear headed

I will maybe extend the testing deadline by three more days- But I will check back in here after I get an agreement with the other testers in a few days as far as the extention goes

I will check back in here before I go to sleep-( and I am not sure when) in this timeframe

Benzo i'm sorry to hear that. I'll be glad to exsten the testing deadline I know how that is. You take your time and best of wishes to you and your family.
If I do any testing in the time that your out i'll update you when your back.
 
Anyone that still needs testing i'll be on off and on all day and yes I might even get on when the super bowl is on. So just post here or pm me. We only have untel friday unless we exstend that but we don't know if we are going to so just thank of it as not untel we know for sure.
 
Do we use our real teams, as in we can have as many different types as possible for the test? Or do we only play with our Mono-Type teams for the test?
 
I will be available for testing beginning tomorrow- I will be able in the afternoon and part of the evening. I will check back in here this afternoon, to add in a schedual for the week with my availability.

As far as extension days, I know Ulti will not be able to extend for the extra days-

^Chompy- The testing does not require that you use a "themed" team- you can do that if you like.

For those of you GL apps who are wanting to use a "themed" team and are trying to get one set up and use for testing, it is not part of the testing that will get you scored on for approval of a GL status.

These testings are to check your over all ability to demonstrate that you have what it takes to "hold your own"- and make anyone who wants to earn a badge realy have to work for it.

Now that I am a little more clear headed, I thank you all for your understanding with my situation, and I feel that the extension is only fair to you apps. because it has interfered with tester availability on your behalf.

I see that pyro is glad to extend a few more days. I will state this again, that Ulti will not test anyone after the first mentioned deadline. I will post the extension deadline in a while later.
 
It's nice to see you back in so soon Benzo. I know how hard it is but I tried to hold down the fort while you were gone but theres not much to report. I hope you feel better soon and best of wishes to you.
 
I don't mind the extension Benzo, make it as long as you need it to get everyone tested. I'm sad to hear of your family loss.

In regards to testing, I am available all day until 10 pm PST. Since I have nothing better to do in the meantime, I'm watching the Super Bowl. Remember, PM me to get started with the testing.
 
I just got done testing Chompy.
Flexibility 5/10 This score is set at a 5 because he swiched out he's other pokemon at the end of the double battle so then I was able to see the type of team he had.
Predictability 3/10 The hole battle was predictable all from the miny legends to being hit by the same attack over and over.
Skill 6/10 This is higher bacause they showed attacks and pokemon to counter my pokemon.
Strategy 6/10 Same as Skill.

I would have to say the only thing that made the score a 20/40 is the fact that Chompy swiched he's pokemon at the end of the doubles battle. All in all the battles felt like battling some one that just grabbed the highest level pokemon in there boxes.
 
I would like to thank Ulti,Pyro, and Tyrrany for their continued work and efforts in keeping this going in my absence the last couple days.
I am glad to have chosen you guys to be testers- all ya'll are top notch in doing this, and it is appretiated for the tests that you guys have completed thus far.
 
I have to EV a pokemon, but then I can do a second test battle against someone. Though, can I use the same team for doubles that I used last time? I have no more doubles oriented Pokemon and can't get any fast enough to make the testing deadline.

Yes, you can use the same doubles team against one tester as you can another. Just no same pokemon from the singles to the doubles match for one test.
 
I guess I'm a tad late to sign up for a spot, eh?

If I'm not, I have the time now, considering I'm at home everyday except when I go to League.
I do meet all of the requirements, I won 2nd place in a VG qualifiers tourney in 06 at Santa Clara CA, I can't remember what the tourney was called I just remember it was some official thing.
I already have test teams such as ghost, psychic, dark, water, ice and one other team. All can beat down top tier teams with ease.
 
Doc all of that sounds good. To bad you didn't get in here to sign up it sounds like you would've been a fun battle but the last day to sign up was Jan 30.
