y not play wally's and boost for a t1 kill on castform
and you can annoy john silvestro
That's what I used to do... but someone recommended taking out the WT for some reason I can't remember... I still don't know what to take out of the deck, except when someone suggested Mew ex, but that makes it so much more consistent...

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

whynot play gligar Uf with strength charm for a turn 1 kill on a castform?

You know... it's not such a bad starter. I was looking for something to T1 Castform, and that might just be it... And I can retreat it if I have a Pokemon I'd rather start with Benched... but then if I retreat it, it eats up a bench space. Still, I could see it in a version using the Electabuzz d line... and using the Wally's Training with Gligar, with possibly Dual Ball or Great Ball in the deck, it could boost the chances of getting a quick Delcatty or Del ex up.

It can T2 them, but it can't T1 them. If I go second, a person using the Holon's Castform Delta Draw will probably get off two successful attacks in the time it takes me to build up Elekid d, then Electabuzz d. With Gligar, all I give up is 1 turn's worth of Energy, and it stops them sometimes before they can get off a single Delta Draw.

delta draw for how much? 1? 2?
how many basics do they usually have in their hand
what i was pointing out is the fact that you want to fit in something to accomplish something you can already come close to doing
seems a bit unprogressive

I like this deck so far, I've been playtesting my own version of it since about two weeks before PK's release. It's quite suicidal, and early game can stall a little, but mid-late game (lol, turn 8 is late game for this, turns 9+ are overtime) it can ramp up damage very fast. Once the trainers are all gone and you're just recycling Energy it's an OHKO machine.

Have u play test this against any other deck? like what are ur hardest match up and etc

Well, I didn't play it at States, seeing as I couldn't get all the cards for it. =|

Consider your luck in one sense better than mine; you've the Delcatty ex cards I was unable to obtain 2 copies of.

Would you say Mew is really necessary for this deck? I haven't tested it in there myself, but I've been fiddling with other more techy basics (like Celebi ex P2 which is great in here imo, and tauros). I'm also down to only one Mew ex because I traded two, expecting to get two in another trade but got ripped. =/

It's not really necessary, but it does do some godly things. You can also steal your opponent's attacks occasionally (which is why I am VERY tempted to replace some Energy with Holon's Electrode, but know that wouldn't benefit the first Delcatty ex attack, but it would allow re-use of certain Special Energy benefits) as well as using it as the equivalent of Delcatty ex in the form of a basic, should you have your other one in play. You can use it to Disable, if need be, with Sableye on your bench. All in all, I really enjoy using it in the deck.

Playing the Mew* or Mew ex and I put Three Lady in the deck to search for basic energy. Now I have too many cards and use Delcatty ex to get rid of them. Drop them in discard pile or add them to the Mew? and copy an attack. I put two of each color energy in the deck. Not sure if this speeds up the attacks or slows down the deck but I am having fun for now with it. Now to make it a contender. Maybe that Holon Mag will do the trick?
