Is HM AWL any good. ive read about it in nintendo power and on nintendo.com. i tried to log on to my nintendo user name and it wouldnt let me, so i came here. if you have played the game tell me everything good and bad about it.

Depends on if you liked other harvest moon games (note: friends of mineral town is not a harvest moon game. that is cow manure packaged in gameboy advance form). If you did, by all means, go buy it! If not, this will not change your mind. It's a graphical rehash with a few more features. If you've never played a harvest moon game before, this is the best one to try it on. The learning curve is adjusted to how hard you work, and how much work you get yourself into.

The graphics are on par with other gamecube games, but everything has a developed cartoon feel, without much attention to detail (eg, cows made out of circiles with yoshi-like noses).

The gameplay retains the usual harvest moon flavour: From a small beginning, you must develop a farm, make a girlfriend, get married, and all the while, keep your cows fed. Doesn't sound too appealing? It's very addictive for those who have tried it. Yeah, there are some people who can't get into the whole farming concept, but it is worth a try.

Essentially, its a farm simulator.

i have not ever tried a harvest moon game. are they anything like animal crossing? tell me more into detail about all of the harvest moon games. and if anyone can, list all of the games and their systems.
