Helix fossil omastar and omanyte

The new omanyte evolve from helix fossil anyway as we all know then i can evolve to omastar my question is the next can i use rare candy to evolve from helix fossil to omastar ( from power keepers expansion) or use rare candy on amysterious fossil to evolve in omastar ( frommajestic dawn) ???

Yes, a Rare Candy could jump from Helix Fossil or Mysterious Fossil, up to Omastar from either expansion. It just gets rough when you start mixing in Omanyte or Wally's Training.
