Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Help needed on the new Unown G vs Froslass/Sandslash ruling.

The Destiny Bond Knock Out is an attack effect from an opponents' Pokemon. The fact that its final resolution is delayed by a turn appears to not matter.

It was a surprise to me too, not a complete surprise but a surprise nevertheless.

No the KO is the resolution of an attack effect.

The damage counters placement of Dark Seed is also an attack effect from an opponent's Pokemon.
So if the final resulotion happens you also have to reverse it to the point it appeared.

Something else, seems to me that attacks like the Sandslash/Froslass ones are created on purpose this way. While Unown G (and before Holon WP) could prevent so many attack effects, those particular 2 should not be prevented by Unown G.

But I better stop, takes to much energy to explain myself in English.

Dark Seeds' damage counter placement is an attack effect , but at the point in time when it is resolved it is no longer located on the opponents' pokemon but on your pokemon.

The Destiny bond Knock out is an attack effect too, and at the time when it resolves it is still located on the opponents pokemon.

Location matters. In particular the final location of the resolving effect has precedence over the originating source location.

The game's designers PCL evidently intend unown G to block both Froslass' and Sandslashs' delayed effects. I had an opinion or expectation of how the interaction ought to resolve right up to the point where I'm told how PCL want it to be played. At that point my opinion has to give way to the higher authority. If that means I have to adjust my view of how the game operates then that is what I have to do. I expected the rulling to go the other way, it didn't. Time for me to adjust my viewpoint.
