Help With Custom Avatar

With the custom avatar weekend coming up, I figured I would try to help out my dad with his custom avatar. Unfortunatly all I know how to do is scan cards, change them up a bit, and put them up. My dad decided that since his pokegym name is Expert Ty, he should have the expert guy from the games (the one with the white robes and the fan). If anyone knows where I can get an avatar like this, or if someone could make it, I wuold really appreciate it. Thanks ahead of time.
 
I found this really cool site where they have all the sprites from old to new: http://www.spriters-resource.com/nintendo/pokemon/

As you can see, the images on the site aren't separate, but in big sections. So just download the picture with the sprite on it that you want and simply crop it down to the size.

If you need any more help just let me know.
 
Thats exactly what I was looking for, thank you Mew*. Since the problem is solved this thread can be locked, or if other people need help with their custom avatars, they can post their questions here, since the title would still aply, also if anyone else knows of sites with POKEMON avatars, it would be nice if you could put them here as a kind of resource.
