Help with RNG

Last night I was attempting to use Emloop for my Emerald. I managed to get spreads, but I encountered a problem. When you are timing for the frames, when do you start? As soon as the game starts, or your file? Other help would also be appreciated.

As soon as you hit that last button to soft reset, the frames start counting. I've successfully RNGd two Emerald Pokemon (Latias and Lugia) like this.

Start the timer immediately after when you hit Start+Select+B+A.

What are you camping? Remember if it is a legendary, most legendary's have to approach and roar. Because of this you have to include this in the waiting time to get the spread you are shooting for.

And i would only use EMLoop for it's timer. To search for spreads, use PokeRNG.

Remember, this is best used for Emerald. Not D/P/Pt/HG/SS.

I did this too. A nice Shiny Latios with a Hidden Power. The fun days.
