Snowpoint Temple + Active Unown Z w/ 6 damage counters, 4 Unown W with Unown E attached and 11 damage counters, Unown V with 7 damage counters. 570 Damage from an Unown. I would consider that to be disheartening to receive that much from an Unown.

Probably not (No way is it top) but...

Mespirt Lv.X (With other Pixie x's on the bench), vs Machamp Lv.X.

The stadium is Lake Boundary.
4 Plus Powers (As well as one strength charm)and Buck's are on the field/attached to Mesprit Lv.X.
Mesprit uses Supreme Blast
200+40+10+10=260
260*2=520
520+60=580

This would be overly epic if Champs body was before W&R

Most I've done is 800 flipping 8/10 heads against a Palkia G with Electivire's discharge :D

Garchomp Lv X uses Restore to put Machamp on the bench with Snowpoint Temple out and attaches Unown E to Machamp. Machamp Lv's up, and gets 4 Pluspowers attached to it. It has 170 dmg on it, against a x2 Weak to fighting Pokemon.

Machamp uses Rage.
170 + 60 + 60 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 X 2= 680. That's a lot!

I`ve done some investigation and calculation with some really difficult formulas I found on the web to come with an acceptable number of heads to be flipped in a row. I took in acount that most coins are heavier at the heads side, that the chances that you `ll flip heads are bigger when you place heads face up at the begining of the flip (it`s true, nice trick) and I used the ( a bit to high:redface: but else I wouldn`t top the current highestdamage, and it`s possible after all)number of 33554432 coin flips (2^25) that an average pokemon TCG player flips in his TCG carier.

If i`haven`t made any mistakes there will be 1 time in your pokemon carrier where you`ll flip 44,356178 =44 heads in a row:eek:!!! (chances are I`ve made a mistake though, lol) (If you want to calculate it for yourself Use this formula and make several adjustments for the tricks and weight differences:
nCr*p^r*q^(n-r)+L
The C being on your calculator as nCr
n=number of trials
r=number of successes (achieveing a heads)
p=probability of success
q=probability of failure
L= luck, you`ll need it ;P)

So, that said...heres the situation

You use Steelix SF and flip 44 heads = 4400
Weavile SW makes Steelix dark an I`ve attched 4 sp darkness enegry to Steelix = +40
You play 4 plus power = +40
You play 1 buck = +10
The defending pokemon is Dusclops so everything prementioned is (with lake boundary)* 2 =(4400+40+40+10) *2 =8980
The defending pokemon was Burned by Magmortar lvl X (and of course its heads) = +30
The defending pokemon was poisoned by Drapion Lvl X = +30
Armaldo has used his attack during you last turn = +40
You play 4 Crobat G = +40
You have attached a Energy to Raikou SW = +10
Cresselia Lvl X swapped 1 damge counter to the defending pokemon = +10
To make all of this possible I`ve used poketurns and SSU`s wich all miraculously were heads....
=9140!!!

....hope I didn`t make too many mistakes...

Glaceon has +30 Steel Weakness.

That said, I don't see the point of this thread.

^^^ Hahahaha all that and its far off...

Realistically I have done 800 with my fun deck that runs 25 fire energy and infernape/togekiss. Infernape had 18 energy on him after 4 turns and did 800 damage by flipping 18 coins and 10 being heads. Completely useless? Yes.

I've dealt 500 with Steelix SF. Other than that, I've seen Raichu MT dealing 240 to a Torterra LvX.

Geodude with 1 Fighting energy attached. Attacks with stone barrage against a slaking PT that
used best dash last turn with Lake Boundary. Infinite Heads.

(Infinity X 2) + 50 = damage.

BAMNATION

Sorry i`ve should have added that lake boundary is in play... but that doesn`t makes it so more unlikely or anything ;P

and this thread is indeed pointless...but if you think about it , the mere fact that it excists gives it reason...

And while I`m at it.....some players use the term infinty as being the maximum damage, but what most people don`t know is that there are several kinds of infinty. Some infinites are bigger than others. The infinty mentioned in this thread is infinty-aleph 0, the smallest infinty.... So ther are bigger infinties of damage possible mathematically seen, although I wouldn`t know how you would be able to achieve this in the TCG. (for example, Infinty-aleph 1 are all infinite fractions between 0 and 1.)

Infernape (PT) with 56 :fire: (60 cards -1-1-1 Infernape and -1 Prize Card) and 56 heads against a Caterpie (Base)(or any other x2 :fire: weak Pokemon)= 8960 damage

or

Gengar (SF) with 4 PlusPowers, and a Buck's in play against a Lucario Lv. X owned by a person with 56 Trainers in their hand right after they used Close Combat = 3490 damage

If you would want something like that to happen, on average you would at least have to try to get such a row for 72057594040000000000000000 times or so...if your lucky...

Steelix DP/Skull Fossil - ∞ heads = ∞ damage. I WIN! :D
same case here... ;)
