The stamp is a clear as a picture on my screen, no idea why other people can't see it :p

So is that the only photo of it anyone has ever got?

My friend owns one of these...AND HE'S 10 lol! To him it's not that big a deal. I should tell him about this thread! ;)

are you sure the one your ten year old friend has HAS the prerealease stamp on it?

I've lightened the image slightly. I hope that makes it easier for everyone to see the stamp. Let me know.

At least I can tell it exsistses now....(well, I already reversed colors on paint so I already knew it was real....)

Why did this Mike person lie about the card and why hasn't he destroyed it? It is an error card, and the value attached is not the intention of the pokémon producers. Why should he get the card and no-one else? How selfish, I have no respect for the man.

that is pretty amazing... it's an understatment to say i'd enjoy having one of these.

Why? What pleasure could you derive from other's misfortune? That's sick.

I do hope you're joking...

If it wasn't for DMTM there would probably wouldn't be a Pokemon TCG anymore

When this happened in what 1997-98?

He and around 7-12 other WotC employees got one of these error cards.

Mike was just the most well known person to have one and showed it off at events he attended. He has kept it ever since and didn't go selling it somewhere and protected the dignity of the card.
