How does the Evo Crush attack work on this and similar cards. Would it work to use a boost energy and return it to your hand as part of the attack cost before its discarded at the end of turn?

It would be discarded by Mew's attack, I don't know where you got returned from.

As with Salamence-ex, you can discard a Boost Energy to pay for his "discard 2 energy" cost, meaning the Boost does not get discarded at the end of your turn because IT'S NO LONGER THERE.

And Pablo is right, Boost can't be attached to basics.

My bad. I was thinking it said return the energy to your hand. Must have been wishful thinking.

You might be confusing it with the Deoxys delta (Dark-type) from the set. (I could be completely wrong, of course )

I have this card and it works in my Devo Deck.

You just have to stall your opponent with something to get it powered up...

Damage first, then effect unless wother wise stated by the card(like Drag Off).
