The PokeGym - Reply to Topic Blissey because you are slow enough as it is and the Blissey will just get enough energy on it to OHKO Murkrows.

Here is the elite idea behind Pokedex. Although you must play 60 cards in a deck, many times I think decks would rather play LESS cards than that if given the option, to increase consistency. Pokedex achieves this effect except for T1.

Re SSU: the last poster summed it up: its main function is to reuse Umbreon*. However, why waste four spots in your deck to sack two of their cards on average? I agree that it just simply isn't that good.

Re Rosanne: I think a mix of Rosanna and Dual Ball should make that problem negligible.

Re DRE and Scramble VS Crystal Beach: I really, really like that idea, actually. Just because it doesn't help vs Blissey much doesn't mean it _won't_ help vs the rest of the field, right?

Re Pokedex: it is elite logic to play Pokedex under the right circumstances, but this deck is not perfect enough to warrant four "deck thin" spots. Ask yourself: if Honchkrow consistently loses to the most popular Pokemon in the format (Blissey), then why would it want to use those four spots for Pokedex, as opposed to...say...a general solution to that one bad matchup?
 
How will this deck perform in mirror match or against any other deck using 4 absol (discard strategy).
Absol is a serious problem to run into, and this deck does run a lot of trainers --> absol food.
 
Since your Murkrows will quickly die, why not add Minun SW ? It's gonna help you to recover.
Also, if Honchkrow Lv X is so important, you should play 2 of them. If your only Honchkrow Lv X os prized, you're in trouble.

Pokedex allows you to thin your deck, and dig deeper into it to find the cards you need. In a fast deck like this one, it's a staple.
 
2 Lv>X Honchcrow are important cause TSD is yoour only recover from the discard so yea ure gonna wanna need it.

If ure starting with Absol,then u disrupt enough so the really big hitters come out later unless its Blissey which it can take the lead early then fall behind to.

Yeah, I played a game against Blissey, where I just wasted their deck.
I used 3 Absols as sacrifices, and pulled like 20 cards out of their hand. Then I started my Honchkrow swarming. The Blissey deck only took one more prize that game. (They can't recover once you run their card pool into the ground.)
 
This is the Absol/Honchkrow deck that I built 3 days ago. this is without Weavile.

I haven't played with this at all, but, I like Castaway because I can get Buffer piece, I love buffer piece but Strength charm is very good as well in this deck. I may be able to take out the Strength Charm for another buffer piece. Like I said, this is a very sketchy 1st time list of this deck. I myself would rather abuse Crystal beach because I feel it gives this deck more power and disruption with it in here. Plus Mirror match will be in this lists favor.
