How big will infernape 4/Luxray GL be?

I can understand the weakness issue, but I would assume the two(Infernape & Gallade) could almost exchangeable in the deck. The Bright Look/Split Bomb combo works with Gallade but better. Bright Look a Claydol, Level Up Bladestorm, then Chop Up for 20 on everything, not just 2 targets. And if you don't run Dialga, you can simply Bright Look a Queen, drop a Crobat/Poison Structure and OHKO with Lucario.

Edit: And just to make this clear, I'm not saying InfeRay is bad, this is just another take on it I suppose.

Congrats on T16! I know people usually call others out on excuses due to prizes, but sometimes its legit...like in this case :p I share your pain, haha. Good job!
 
^ What're the remaining options? If you don't find a way to beat them and you don't join them?

I'm gonna guess it's losing, which few are out to accomplish in the first place, lol.

I've seen way too many people whine about Nidoqueen, wait, 1-1 Dialga G says come with me and you're in trouble.

It kind of surprises me that LuxApe actually won, almost every list I saw and even the ones that I created were bad because you have to fit so many things into 60 cards.

Yeah, you obviously don't know Pooka, haha. I mean, he had SO much extra room, he got a RAYQUAZA in there :p
 
I think he did, a Mewtwo and Flygon counter. You can't miss on something like that, right?

I don't get it, if you use fire spin, do you have Heatran X out or you have some energy recovery item.

my guess is you'd only use spin if you already have some energy on the board already.

though since luxray can just go gain+energy 60, i'm not sure if it's that big of an issue.

Lol Ray couldve been in there, I used him as tech(Posted List in the BR section). People say its not alot of room, there is ALOT of Room, you just have to decide do you want a consistent 100 or spread based ApeRay.

Its funny because I kinda figured it was ggoing to win.
 
ok, this has turned from gengar to luxray... could i just get a simple decklist for gengar? i have the nidoqueens, but only 2 gengar, i can fix that.

3-3 Nats with machamp then dropped :(

ps should i add crobat g?

3-1 Ape
2-1 Ray
2 Crobat

And for the SP engine, we have something like this:
4 Cyrus
4 Poke Turn
4 Energy Gain
4 Power Spray
? SP Radar
=16-20

To round out the staples of the deck:
4 Roseanne's
2 Aaron's
2 Premier Ball
2 Pokemon Rescue/NM
=10

Energy count looks to be 10-12 with mostly Fire and SP, maybe 1 or 2 Lightning since you have 8 ways to search.

Can someone confirm how much of this is close?

You'll need 1-1 Dialga G or scoop to any 1-1 Mewtwo tech line. Lot of these lists also play 1-1 Claydol. I understand how some people are saying there's no room for stadiums or Power Sprays; you've got to make a lot of hard choices with this deck. I'd love to get any information on the winning build

Since both Infernape 4 and Luxray GL can switch the opponent out with ease, a 1-1 Mewtwo tech is unlikely to stop them. Dialga G would probably be more for Flygon, Nidoqueen, and the occassional Grass deck.
