I saw some people at my league with these soft cloth playmats with different artwork on them I just wondered if I could buy one or have one made?

Many mats have been given out through raffles and prizes at Premier Pokemon Events like Cities, States, and above.

I'm not sure about cloth playmats. There's an older, 2-person cloth playmat which is awesome, but outside of that I'm not certain of any.

If you mean rubbery, mousepad-like playmats, then those are huge in other games and are catching on in Pokemon as well. Mostly they're given away through raffles at events, but Worlds qualifiers from this past year earned some, and there's the Prof.-exclusive Darkrai ones as well. Oh, and the winner of States gets one too. Your best bet is to look around on eBay. Pokemon ones are quite expensive, but can be found, and other games' playmats can be picked up for quite cheap. You can also find generic ones, along with M:TG ones in retail stores for not entirely too much.

Good luck!

He probs means as in Magic Spellground playmats, which worth around... *cough* $200 bux each...

yeah i have a yellow 2 person playmat frm way back in the day the newer mat imo are crap there is barely any play space

Yeah, you can look around for some of the generic ones. They are often made for, say, YGO or Magic but don't have the zones on them, so you can use them for Pokemon.

I personally have the good ol' Pikachu cloth 2-player mat. It's yellow and looks neat overall. Annoying to maintain, though; you gotta get out the fluffs or the cards can get caught in them.

Alternatively to buying one or going to that thread linked earlier, you can sew one yourself. Just don't expect to retain your sanity in the process unless you're going for a solid color or a pattern already on the fabric, in which case you could make a usable one for quite cheap, just not mousepad-like; similar, but not perfect.

The only cloth mats Ive ever heard of are spellground ones, which are, as already said, like $200. Unless someone knows of another cloth mat company? That'd be cool.

There no longer made anywhere, also its something with the cloth they don't ruin your sleeves as fast. Some people see them as the mark of a pro. I see it more as hey look I got money but thats just me.

There have been several POP playmats.

I was actually looking for values of them, but found this thread. Anyone care to place values?

Also found these on ebay, but they're clearly not official, and not sure they're legal
