How do you store your collection?

Just curious how you store your collection? Loose sleeves in a 3-ring binder or binders with built-in sleeves? Using Ultra Pros or some other sleeves? Do you store front and back? More than 2 cards per slot (for duplicates)?

penny sleeves and a 3 ring binder for the normal cards. screw cases and toploaders for the more expensive ones. = D

Do they make rigid sleeves for binders? Sort of like the typical 9 per pagers but harder plastic? Would help organize a strong collection.

For expensive cards I find it adequate to insert them upside down in an ultra pro pro fit sleeve then I place the sleeved cards in an ultra pro platinum 9 card page. I don't place the cards back to back, and I store the binder in a cool dresser out of the sun.

Depending...

My Soon-to-be Complete Master Sets...
In Worlds Binders - 6 cards per page... RH are back to back in the middle with the normal card beside (I'm sure this'll change though once I get all the cards

My graded cards/gradeable cards...
In a cheap fireproof safe from Walmart

My "UR" cards
In penny sleeves in toploaders

Everything else
Just in plastic boxes.

I put cards in a 9-holo binder, don't use the top three on the page because they're more likely to fall out, and I put some in penny sleeves.

I have two absolute rules with my "collectible" cards:
1) NO BINDERS (if they have binder rings)
2) NO TAPE
I'm sure many of you understand;)

If playing cards, then binders are fine.

I have all my cards in 9-pocket pages in binders. I slide all holo/reverse-holo cards in sleeves (Ultra Rares get color-coded sleeves) and put them in the binder. I do put them back to back, but I only have 1 of each card (1 of each variant) in the pocket, so all my extras are just in stacks around my room or in tins.

I store my complete sets in binders that have "D" shaped rings. It helps eliminate the worry of getting binder ring dents in the cards.

All cards are put into a KMC Perfect Fit or Ultra Pro Pro-Fit sleeve upside down. Then they are all put into an Ultra Pro deck sleeve right side up.

Any card that is worth less than $25 gets put into a binder in its set. Any card worth more than that (or around there) gets put into a top loader by itself then into one of those plastic bag things that seal at the top.

I never put 2 cards in a binder sleeve. Rubbing is horrible. All of my binders are stacked, laying down and put into a plastic tub that's in a cool, dark area.

I just inspected cards that I've had stored that way for 9+ years and they're perfect. :) No curling and no damage.

What is the point of putting cards into sleeves upside-down?

Keeps dust from sneaking into your sleeves after years of storage. Those pesky dust particles can scratch the holo or the gloss of your cards. So you may remember sleeving a perfect card, but then find it scratched after storage. It really sucks when that happens... :(

So, just an update... I've started using Ultra Pro Pro Binders, and when using 3-ring binders, I use Ultra Pros black pages (with insertion points on the front and back so cards don't rub directly against each other). I also think the black pages showcase your collection much better than clear pages.

For jumbos, I've searched a bit and ended up finding a book that somewhat does the trick. I wish there were more buffer at the tops and bottoms of the cards (I fear bending due to the book's shape), but it makes it easier to carry and showcase these cards vs the 6x9 toploaders I was using (pictured below):

Where'd you buy the book from (and how much was it)? Also, how many pages does it have?

I had to buy it from Australia (all the 6x8 albums seem to be in the uk or Australia, guess the size is more common there). Will double check price and sleeve count

I have one Ultra pro: Pro-binder 9 pocket binder were I store my old school cards. It have side loading pocket pages and imagine that it is a little bit safer than the regular pages.

Then I have my the rest of the cards in regular binders. My ultra rares are also in the regular binder, but then again I Don't really have any of those super expensive ultra rares.

I have some cards that I don't really dare putting in a binder, like my 1st edition Shining Gyarados and Shining Mewtwo. They are stored in top loaders, as I'm not sure whatever I shall keep or sell them.
