How Good Will Dialga G be at NATS and Why?

I've heard a lot of great things about Dialga G. Deafen is great and Remove Lost is even better. Dialga G Lv.X's body shuts off a lot. What is your opinion?

Gengar- start using Deafen T1 with Skuntank and Galactics HQ.

Machamp- attach Unown G to Dialga G and pound hard with Remove Lost and Toxicroak G's Deep Poison.

Beedrill- lock all trainers and BTS with Deafen and slowly start beating down.
 
I think Dialga G is a great card and deck, however the rise of Infernape 4/ Luxray GL will surely hurt its chances of running rampant. Expect to see plenty of both decks though.
 
between a painful match to flygon(deafen lock only does so much) and ape decks, i wouldnt use it at nats. its good, just cant dodge that many decks, unless flygon and ape both disapear, then someone got lucky.
 
Infernape is just scary to Dialga G 'nuff said.

I don't think Dialga G will make it far, more fire techs have been brought into decks and much more Pokemon can 1-Hit KO even though it locks their opponent.
 
Idk when we will see more.....mabye it is hiding until nats?? I mean I haven't seen a trace of Dialga G LV X since Regs!:confused:
 
I'll laugh when I see people start teching in 1-1 Bibarel lines and two water energys into Dialga G just for Aperay.
 
Machamp actually has a really bad Dialga match-up. Other then the initial donk factor, any half decent Dialga player can quickly swarm sp. metals and an unown G to a single Dialga and then go agro Remove Lost. Unless the opponenet gets constant 4 heads on Hurricane Punch, there isn't much that can be done. and that's assuming they don't play Toxitank.

Flygon is a good card, but won't see much nats play, due to poor Kingdra, Gengar, beedrill, P-Z, and even Machamp match-ups. Plus it can't handle constant swamring and PokeTurning of most SpS.

ApeRay is going to be the only thing that has a chance against Dialga. So as soon as someone finds a tech that owns ApeRay, they'll have a deck with a positive match-up to everything in the meta-game. Which is pretty amazing.
 
LuxApe is Dialga's worst nightmare. and Flygon lvX is just plain brutal. as soon as Flygon OHKOs Dialga G lvX, you start losing cards from your deck. also, Dialga plays 3+ stadiums so wall of sand can stall for the flygon player. If i was going to Nats i would play Gechamp or Mother Gengar. sadly im not. :frown:
 
Flygon/Machamp is really brutal

it can destroy machamp fo sho and all other sp decks

A SMART dialga player will not level up, and will not play down stadiums. Even then, Its very difficult for flygon to OHKO a dialga with 2-4 special metals.

Ummm note that that Flygon matchup is fueled by choice...

...now why, if they have Flygon out, would you play down a Stadium!?
 
IMO that is what makes Flygon a semi-good deck.

No, you don't HAVE to play your LV Xs and Stadiums most of the time (unless they have Mewtwo, or you are playing Toxitank or something), but most decks that run LV Xs and Stadiums are significantly weaker if they can't play them (they're in your deck for a reason, right?), and that gives Flygon an advantage.

No B T-S for quick evos, no GHQ for extra damage, no Stark Mountain for Energy manipulation etc.

Not being able to play the LV X in a Dialga G deck hurts. No Remove Lost, no PokeBody shutdown, no extra HP. It hurts Palkia G decks even more (can't Cyclone the Mesprits), and it makes Alakazam 4 pretty much unplayable.
