How long it takes to get your league approved?

First off this is my first time posting on this thread :] So hello!!!
I sent off my league application for a pokemon league in my area over a month ago and i still have not received a response :/
I tried calling nintendo and have contacted Pokemon through their support website but have not recieved any response yett. :/
I was curious if this usually takes a relativeley long time?

I tried finding a different contact email or a number but i could not :/
Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks :D

Well, we're kinda in this odd space between Nationals and Worlds when pretty much everybody at P!P is running around like a chicken without its head. Busybusybusy. But a month is kinda a long time for that.

Calling Nintendo isn't going to help, unfortunately. Nintendo is not Pokemon.

If you're using the http://support.pokemon.com website, then you're doing it right. Give them about a week to see it, let it stew, and see what's actually happening. They have a backlog of these things floating around.

You're doing it right, so far. Just give them time, and it'll happen. In the mean time, just get your League started, keep track of games on your own, and don't promise more than you can give.

We already have 1 night set per week for the league and are now just waiting for it to be official :] Thanks for the help!
 
You can start playing. Just keep track of how many games are played and credit them when you get your supplies in.
 
BEST NEWS EVER!!! I just got the info from our background check back today and I got approved!!! :D woot!!!
 
I live in the UK and applied for a league 3 months ago... I have contacted them twice and they have given no further info apart from that I do not need to submit a CRB check because I live outside the US...

WHY does it take them so long? :(
 
I submitted my league application and background check form back on July 25... Still waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting... We're playing weekly at the shop that agreed to have us, but the owner is growing restless since it's hard to grow the league without being official. He started stocking Pokemon product because of the us, and the few of us can't buy it all. It's really a bummer all the way around. We started out with a bang with the Blast pre-release and now it feels like they are trying to kill us or don't care. Hopefully, they'll stop just telling me to be patient and actually get around to approving the league.
