Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

How Unown Q is going to change the game

Its interesting. I'll play around with it a bit before I make a final call on it. it may just dead a dead card if you don't see it early.

XD

It does? Thanks for the warning. Argh, I'll never include this clumsy fool of a Pokémon in my decks again!

Just a thought if it becomes popular, we might witness more T1 donks with 2 Unown Qs against each other in the start...

Sometimes you need to state the obvious.

unown q's low hp could be used to one's own advantage in any deck vs GG. put him on the bench, with 30 hp he will have fewer hp than any pokemon that was hit with sonic blade. this alters who bringdown can ko. and if it somehow survives this function, one could always attach it as a tool to get it out of the way.

I wonder what would happen if you attached an Unknown Q to a pokemon with free retreat...Would you get an energy back from the discard pile because he's got a -1 retreat? That would be righteous...haha

Pokemon doesn't believe in negative numbers.

I can delta reduction with Meganium d, and get attacked by an attack that normally deals 10 damage. Do I get to remove 30 damage? No. Similar thing for retreat costs.

If someone starts with like, a Baltoy, just use a Roseanne's for one of these and your preferred starter, and bam, you have the setup you look for. Much better than wasting a turn without your starter, and wasting an energy, no matter what deck you play.

If they go first, they can't do that. It would only benefit you if you start with a roseanne's research/celio.
