Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars
Unleashed...undaunted...unoriginal...

There goes your professorship, dawg. Core Values and that jazz.

But really, you guys are criticizing it, at least they're introducing USEFUL higher level vocabulary into set names. But I mean, heaven forbid kids learn stuff while playing Pokemon amirite? "Undaunted" instead of "not afraid." I see this as an amplification of a trend, rather than a negative thing.

"Awakened" > "Woke Up"
"Encounters" > "Meetings"
"Majestic" > "Beautiful, Gorgeous, etc."

Just compare it to the japanese names :p
Clash at the summit, endless battle in a torn sky (or something like that), those are epic. Or setnames are so... pointless and dont say anything. Might as well name them DP1 DP2 DP3 etc. Misterious treasures? Great Encounters?

Well, the name is somewhat weird. Seriously, Undaunted? Never really heard of that word before, but oh well. Looks like all HS sets will begin with the prefix un- as it seems.

I am glad about the next set because it will finally bring in cards like Flower Shop Girl and Legend Box. It is also good to hear that there will be 6 Primes in the set, three of which are Raichu, Slowking, and Umbreon. Because of the fact Umbreon Prime is in it, I think Espeon Prime will also be in the next set since after all, Umbreon and Espeon are pairs, so it would make the most sense to put both primes in one set. Since Espeon and Umbreon will surely be there, I could see an Eeveelution deck beginning to arise now that Leafeon Lv.X has not been rotated. As for the other two primes, I have a feeling it will be Scizor and Houndoom since after all, the next set will have the remaining Revived Legends cards, so putting in Scizor and Houndoom makes the most sense. At the same time, if Scizor Prime will be in the next set, It looks like we may begin to see Scizor decks arise too.

Deoxys and Rayquaza Legend is in the next set too. Well, that's a literal surprise. That card hasn't even been out in Japan yet, and now we are receiving word that it will come out a month after Clash at the Summit, the next Japanese set where the Legend is from, is released in Japan. We don't even know what the Legend even does yet! Oh well, we'll find out soon, and it's good to see it come out a little earlier than usual.

Yep, can't wait for the next set! Though it is a small set again, it will surely bring in some good cards for sure.

Dialga & Palkia LEGEND does NOT have Giratina. It is only those two, and no LEGENd cards have more than two Pokémon represented.

There are currently four unreleased legends, Dialga/Palkia, Darkrai/Cresselia, Deoxys/Rayquaza, and Groudon/Kyogre.

There isn't a Glaceon anywhere that could go in this set, leaving us with just the Leafeon from the Expert Deck Kit.

There are 79 cards left in the main Reviving Legends including the secret Alph Lithograph. With the LEGEND from Clash at the summit that is 80 cards with the secret. The leftover Pikachu/Raichu/Eevee/Leafeon make 84. However, those six cards are not the only ones left in the L-P Promotional cards. We know that the Espeon/Umbreon/Raichu/Slowpoke/Slowbro/Slowking will make the minimal 90 cards with the secret 91, but there are still eigth other promotional cards that never saw English release: Chikorita/Cyndaquil/Totodile/Phanpy/Mareep/Teddiursa/Lapras/ and Shuckle. And let's not forget about those other five shiny campaign cards: Ho-Oh/Lugia/Entei/Raikou/Suicune. I know that would add up to 103 cards, but all we know is at least 90 (most likely no more than 100) There are options that might push it above the minimal 90

I think those were confirmed to appear in the new tins.

Another small set, yay! Thanks for the info.

I agree. A smaller set means better chances of getting what you want.

For the record, I like Undaunted - reminds me of some of the names used for old Battleships in the Royal Navy, or of Star Destroyers from Star Wars!

I think those were confirmed to appear in the new tins.

Alternate artworks were confirmed for the new tins. The originals could very well be in a set somewhere, much like how every single other tin promo was an alternate artwork reprint from a card in a main expansion.

Bonds Til The End of Time is my fave.. so dramatic.. it actually invokes emotions imo which makes them more appealing to me.

They will DEFINITELY have more than 1 LEGEND in this set. Just makes sense from a marketing stand point. They won't pull just one from an upcoming set.

90 cards is not a set! What ever happened to the sets that were were getting in DP-AR where the MINIMUM was 100 cards, but most were 120-150.

The next set better be a proper size!

i dont know about anybody else, but im hoping for that Gorgeous MEW Prime. ^_^ fingers crossed, as for the set size? i like it, smaller sets means that you have a higher chance of getting what you need, or if you are like me, it lets you stock up on the "Cuteness" factor that a lot of basic pokemon have.(i have about 4 play sets of teddiursa =P)
