Hurricane Franics is coming toward Florida. They cancelled school on Thursday and Friday where i live. This hurricane is bigger then charlie so my parents and i are getting worried. does anybody have any thing to say bout this hurricane.

man, it's a beast of a hurricane season. board up your windows (if you still have them after charlie) and keep your hopes up. with a bit of luck, it might not even hit you that hard. of course, it never hurts to be prepared. best pf luck to you and your family. i have relatives in florida, and this hurricane season has had me calling down there a lot more frequently lately :)

Omar, the bad news is the storm is bigger than the entire state of florida. Pray that it head north into the open sea away from land. They cancelled school thurs/friday in brevard county also. They still have the storm making landfall anywhere between Miami and Jacksonville and further north. They have been saying Melbourne will take a direct hit.
Hagrid23, Waliken and I plan on leaving just not sure when and in which direction.
I just hope that there is a house to come back too. I will ride out one and some two's but 3 or higher and Im outta here. Please be safe and let me know if you evacuate anywhere.
God Bless,

Good Luck to you all.....Let God Help you through and have him bless you.....Please Go to a underground shelter if need be..Or even leave....

God Bless,
Tyler

All I can say is. . . Not Again!

People of my town just got power back from Charley two days ago, and now we may lose that and more soon? I am seriously considering moving out of state real soon.

Not even a month apart from each other.

I don't remember Florida ever being this bad. That + heat = Get the hell out of Dodge. I would like nothing more than to move up north.

Well, good luck to everybody else who will be affected by this.

I'll pass on the " up north " thing. Been there, done that. We have the BEST weather 7-8 months a year. Summers DO pretty much suck, though. As for the storm, this thing is a BEAST!! Omar, Ronae, GOD bless you. I'm on the west coast of Florida and we are VERY concerned! If i lived on the east coast I'd leave, PERIOD.The eye wall is still forcasted to come ashore around Vero Beach, hit Polk county AGAIN, Orlando, Ocala ( 10 miles from where I live!) , then exit into the gulf as a cat 1. ALL bad!!!

Be careful man. I was at Cocoa Beach (Brevard County) when Charlie hit. Luckly it wasn't that bad. But yeah, I heard Francis is gonna be bad.

I lucked out with Charley, but this one is supposed to come right over us this time too. Ronae, and everybody else on the East coast of the state, be careful and stay safe. I'll keep my prayers for everybody here in FL.

Yeah, I too luckd out with Charley. Once I get a car I am moving far far away from Florida.

Good Luck to all of the other FL people.

Every place is subject to some kind of disaster or another. I've seen earthquakes and even a volcano on the West coast, now hurricanes and tornadoes on the East coast.

Lets pray for everyone in the path of this storm.

Hehe 2 hurricanes in 3 weeks.

I am riding this one out, but I'm getting kind've worried. My mom is seriously thinking about moving out of FL because of this + weather sucks + old people. LOL GL to everyone who's staying through this.

Well, I've spent the last two days boarding up windows around the house. I can tell you right now that I'll never own a two story house as long as it could be hit by a hurricane.

The storm's path is scary, almost a mirrored version of Charley, which hit only three weeks ago. Not to mention that the storm is ridiculously huge... a surfer's paradise, but after seeing the pictures from the Bahamas, crazy.

I'll try to keep the Gym up to date as long as power and phones are up. We do have a power generator and plenty of ice for the coolers. If you're tracking the storm or looking for local information, try these local news outlets:
