Hey everyone today marked the 2nd AL state championship,i went with my friends steve,aaron,mike,candace,dave and my lil bro ross,whom i let run rampant with my SMP ;p
Anyway I was playing my crappy ludi that gets donked by rock-lock about 100% of the time,not today.
W Round 1 vs. Mike (ttar ex/cham ex)
I get crap,he gets more crap gg.
W Round 2 vs. Alan S. (Metanite)
We play a really good game but the lone shard did him in i think.
W Round 3 vs. Dave (Rauchu ex,Dragonite DS,Magcargo)
He gets screwed and i pwn so hardcore.
LUNCH BREAK? Rememebr what happened last time? I think i will pass on lunch. ;P
L Round 4 vs. Chris S. (Rock-lock?)
How could he go so low,he gets way ahead and i try to comeback but just like i thought TRICKY GYM,SNIPE,PWNAGE (and you call me a lucksack ;P)
W Round 5 vs. Alex (Rock-lock OMG this sucked...)
I'm down 6-1 and I have prized 4 cards i need! I go to scoop but quitting is the easy way out of embarrassment so I decide to practice what i preach so i change my mind,pick up my cards and decide to do it the hard way,i score a kill and realize i have 1/2 a shot if time doens't run out (which i'm expecting when i start getting close,you know how it goes),I play my next 7 or 8 moves in a split of a second each while scoring kills left and right trying to beat the clock and make what would not only be not one of the biggest upsets ever but also coming back from the dead against the one deck that usually makes me draw dead. I get it tied at 1-1 before time is called,now the RL player is playing my game not his,i draw,smooth over,swing dance,play energy,warp point,attack and thats that,i came back from the dead to pull it out!
This miracle qualifies me for Top 4 which is all ttar and rock-lock (they have to be out to get me now) X/
Chris (RL) vs. Adam (RL) Adam wins in two.
Brent (crappy ludi) vs. Mike (ttar ex/cham ex)
Semi-Finals vs. Mike (ttar ex/cham ex)
W Game 1
He goes first and tries to donk my lone plusle with rhyhorn and a strength charm! my heart skips a beat as he misses with two tails,i let him have plusle and then i take it with a scramble on lanturn like turn 3 or 4.
W Game 2
He gets 7 mulligans which allows me a fairly easy setup lol,i win with a ATM for two prizes in what is a good game.
Finals vs. Adam (Rock-Lock)
W Game 1
I open with Moltres ex but we play what was a great game to experience or watch,i barely win.
L Game 2
It is close but I prize scramble which screws me up bcuz i put my eggs in that basket with no switch/warp point left scramble is prized and i get stuck a move,that is all he needed to take the game,if i only would have sent out lanturn and DRE instead of hoping for scramble on ludi...
W Game 3
I start pretty crappy but manage to get a turn 4 or 5 moltres and a kill,then another moltres to save 2 prize and get another kill so it is now 5-4,i miss a draw when i get a DRE with all basics in play and his Desert Ruins is eating me alive. :/ i solemnly go to make what will be my last attack with moltres as he will crush all of my pokemon on his next move and take 7 prizes. TIME IS CALLED AS I ANNOUNCE CRUSHING FLAMES and i'm declared the winner by time 5-4,LITERALLY another second and my whole world would have come down the next move...I can't believe i just lucksacked against the one deck that busted me twice last year in states.

-me for not giving up on myself in Round 5 against all odds.

-finally being a state champion again against RL after losing in the finals to it last year.
-the staff including Rocketman,Mike Schell,and Nancy Lynch for a job well done.

-to adam-that was a horrible lucksack break on my part,had we done it the way we wanted to without time,well you know how the rest of the story would have went... crushung flames< 7 prizes and everyone dying
-chris playing RL nonono :nonono:
-my little brother lost like $200 bucks cause he dropped his wallet,i found it empty in the trash when i went and helped him look for it...sry bro.
-me being a jerk to heather when she lost to dave which kinda sno-balled from there :/
-all the other stuff that sucked XD
