Well ya after having about 1 hour of sleep and about 6 monsters i was ready to go to states. I got there early and played against some people. Well before i knew it r1 was here.
My goal was 2nd
I decided to play mortar
Round 1 Clay C.(~Blazi-King~) mirror
I knew this match wasnt going to be easy until i saw his opening hand. I basically just got the X out and kept sniping every where the energy was. it basically came down to me Vs his X with 40 on it. So i rare candy skitty into delcatty ex constrained and then upstreamed for 130

Round 2 Philip C. Tangrowth
Well i knew this match was going to be one sided mainly because of his weakness to fire, and i was right.
Fireball Bazooka overran him and there was damage EVERYWHERE.The last two turns i grabbed all 6.

We start off the game with him getting like 20000000 mulligans. and the game begins BUT OH NOES
he forgot his prizes while we were still setting up. He calls the judge over and its game loss. I felt bad but we decided to play out and i would have won, but i still didnt want to win like that.

Now what can i say about this game. POOP. i got the usual start but he starts getting early prizes while im spreading damage then he lays a crystal beach so im like cool ill just grab my other ty, but cynda quil is prized =(. Towards the end it was very close but he managed to pull through and win.

She gets a t2 gallade and starts flipping prizes. While i just spread the damage and go for the ko. she scoops.

Round 6 Macon Electivire/Catty
In this game i just used my scrambles to over run him. and built my bench because he cant snipe it =).
The game goes in my favor when i start Burning the active vire and Flame Blustering the Motor Drive one. Good Game Macon.

We both shake hands, then we brag about whos hand is worse lol. It takes us both like 4 turns to finally get started . I have no clue how i won this but i did.

I start with a pachi and immediatley go on the offensive flame blustering every infernape he dropped and he kept whiffing on burn.So i drew my prizes pretty fast.
Game 2 Pretty much a repeat of the first game.

Well my deck decided to prize a lot of the cards i need to win this matchup. So i basically played the game with no delcatty and 1 typho and 1 mortar. So the game was pretty easy for him.
Game 2 Again my deck craps out on me. I decided to scoop flipping over my prizes and there it was 2 Mortar, 1 Mortar x, 1 Magmar, 1 Fire and a copycat.

Well i made my goal which was 3rd. Pretty Good Turnout and im proud of tx for not playing the BDIF and playing something different.
