i just bought a sealed brand new original shrink wrap yellow version for less then 40 dollars.
what are your thoughts on this.
i seen these online go for 150-200 dollars.
does anyone know if i scored a big deal on this or is the value of sealed pokemon games gone down in price drasticly.
let me know if i did good on this.
im just curious if i should be excited or feel bad.
well anyway i already have red and gold sealed now im adding yellow.

I found a brand new Yellow Game at a local Gamestop for $10 and it was in it's original case if that is what you mean by sealed? I don't think that was a good deal and haven't heard of it being 150-200 but I could be wrong and just was lucky myself. I however have been playing it since I got it about a year ago.

I think he means the Box, with shrink wrap on it, not the little plastic thing that used to come with GB games.

I don't know if that's a good deal or not though. If you've seen them go for 150, then I'd say you just got a good deal.

Well mine also had the shrink wrap on. Well it doesn't really matter but in my opinion it wasn't a good deal unless you have seen more than at least 5 people trying to sell it for more than 150 beacuse I don't think it is worth that much. Do you have a link possibly as to where you saw it for that sort of price?

im talking BRAND NEW SEALED IN ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP WITH BOX AND EVERYTHING.
this is never opened.
this is brand new just think as if it just came into stores new.
its in excelent unopened condition with box and shrink excelent.
game stop never sells their games brand new in shrink wrap all new games they open up and just put the box on the shelves.
all new games are open up and stored in the back.the box is put on the shelves you take the box bring it to them and they fill it up with the game they have in the back.

yours must have came in from the small plastic protector case.
its a small prtective case to hold the game safe and sound.
do you guys want the link to see it better.

you should have saved it.you should have saved the new one for a collectors item and bough a used one to play.
these sealed games are getting harder to find.
why did you open up a brand new one.
you had a excelent deal on it you should have left it alone.
just curious what condition was the shrink wrap and box.
if it was destoryed then it wouldent have mattered.
if it was mint you should have kept it.

It was brand new and never opened with shrink wrap the one I have, and it doesn't matter what I got out of it whether it was or can be considered a collectors item or not. I had fun just playing it so my opinion on the game I have and played doesn't really matter. The question you asked was do you think you had a good deal or not. Well I would say you didn't because I haven't seen those prices ever on that game. (125-200) Would you mind saying where you have seen those prices and about how many of those high prices you have seen? If you only saw one or two people with those prices I would say they were trying to rip people off. Now if you saw more than 5 possibly on different sites then I would say that is about accurate and you have a good deal. As you said would you like to see a link, well if you don't mind that would be nice.

i seen them go on ebay for that price i seen about 10 sellers over the last 2 or so years.
a couple of the sellers had a huge bulk of them that they had in storage all these years.
they sold many yellow version, blue version, red versions.
so all 3 individualy for about 150 dollars each or all 3 for like 300-350 together.
some people had alot of these and were selling them like crazy.
they sold many of these.
i got mines on ebay today.i tihnk it was because of his low feedback or maybe the pic was too blurry.
it was blurry but enough to convince me to buy it.
also where do i buy a protective case for my selaed games.
i see cases to protect old sealed games but i dont know where to buy or what its called.

I don't know where you can buy a case, but if that is true on the price then I would say it is about accurate and you have a good deal. Do you have a link to what you bought? That way we can see what you mean by blurry? I hope it wasn't a fake you bought in other words. So if it isn't fake though I would say it is a good deal.

well to save my behind im gonna wait until i get it or at least the seller shipps it.
i dont want people trying to offer more money to him and i get lost because he was offered alittle more.
some people do that so ill feel safe once its on the way to me or i get it one or the other ill decide then.i just won it.

That is fine by me, once it has shipped though if you don't mind put up a link so people can see what you mean and stuff. I hope for your sake it isn't fake.

no its real.its just i dont want others trying to be sneaky and trying to get it behind my back.
its real.

where can i get a case for it.vga i believe or gva or something with those 3 letter is like a psa for games graded.
psa is card this vga tihng is graded games.
i need to get one of tohse platic protectors to protect my selaed games.
i dont care about its grade i just need that plastic thing they use.
how can i get one of those.
i seen yellow it is rarer then blue or red yellow and crystal are the most expensive and most rarest.
so i just hope its great.the seller said a little bend but nothing too serious.
so i hope it is what he said.

Ok. That is fine with me. I understand what you mean though on some else trying for it.

are 'factory sealed' games of that era shrinkwrapped using printed (like booster box) wrap? if not, it's pretty easy for a seller to re-wrap a package...

yes thats the one.how did you find "completed auctions"
can you tell me how you found out it was that.how did you find "completed auctions"
and should i be worried that he sold one earlier tihs month or what?
You mean this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/WOW-BRAND-NEW-F...=65:13|66:4|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:200

Searching for completed auctions on ebay is easy.

Also, earlier this month the seller sold another one using the same picture:

After you search, on the left side, there's a check box to search for completed listings. As for how I knew it was the correct one: it ended today, had a relatively blurry picture, was sold for < $40, and was the only one to fill these conditions.

so the fact the seller sold one earlier does this mean i should be worried like hes reselling to rip people off or do you think its legit.
