The OP pretty clearly states

For this contest, TRAINERS/SUPPORTERS are NOT "uncommons" ; they are in a seperate category called "Trainer/Supporters"

However, I would reccommend to RA that for purpose of deck building fossils should be treated as Pokemon and not TRAINERS/SUPPORTERS.
 
OK. LIFE has conspired against you all and is doing whatever it can to keep me from sending these doggone PMs!!

Let me explain what's going to happen tonight when I send you your new lists

That's my tourney.. and it's TODAY!! (DOH!!)

I, still, won't get the decks out until tonight :(

OK... here's the scenario...
(and these WILL go out this evening come heck or high water!)

New players/kids tend to just JACK UP a list when you first help them. This kid will be no different.
He will swap cards in and out thinking he's make the deck "much stronger" and, in fact, he's just messed it all up.

You'll have his binder and whatever cards are still in his deck (by the way, he may have more or less than 60!) to get his deck back on track.

This is exciting when I'm able to get the lists out to you right away. Prob is, I have to go through each individual list and JACK IT UP :p So, that's why this round needs time to send out. I'll definately get this going after my tournament is over and I'm back home.

((TIME FOR PAIN is the HJ of that tourney!!! *woot*))

Suggestions like these are ALWAYS welcomed. You're right, we'll count fossils as Pokemon (uncommons).

NOTE: If you have 64 cards, those 4 extra do NOT count towards your 16 changes :thumb:

Now, I've gotta go set up for the sanctioned tourney :/
 
He said we're to get 4 full days, IIRC. So if the list comes out Thursday (today) we'll have until Monday, or he could push it over to Tuesday since it'll probably be late when they're sent out.

if Jonathan changed the deck like most newbie lil kids do... then i have a feeling this deck has very little to do with meganium now... and prolly has a 70+ card deck. with 6 ex's etc.

oh god.
 
15/16 cards were decided for me, by being out of format. I can neither add the Basic Pokemon needed to use the in-format evolutions in the deck, as the rules don't allow me to, nor remove the evolutions, as I can't take out more than one additional card. This'll be fun.
 
Rogue Archetype, how do I handle a 71 card deck especially if I take out any cards it counts toward my 16 card limit for the round? FYI it was 34 pokemon, 16 trainers, 21 energies.
Please refer to post #1 of this thread. I copy and pasted the interesting section.
"CARDS YOU CAN USE:

You can add cards from the Binder of Fun and Randomness
You can add up to 6 Pokemon Uncommon/Commons from PL and LA.
You can add up to 3 of any Basic Energy that is not already in the deck! (you may mix or use 3 of the same)
You can only switch out 16 total cards from the 'new' list (ANYTHING you take out will count towards your 16 card limit.)"

Yet on post #44 of this thread and on page 2, you posted "NOTE: If you have 64 cards, those 4 extra do NOT count towards your 16 changes".

I am so confused. Please clarify the two conflicting posts.
I am guessing with your busy schedule you have not updated the first page of this thread.

Still haven't recieved my pm, not to rush. Just makign sure I wasn't missed, I totally understand how that could happen after a busy day with a big contest :thumb:
 
Count yourselves lucky.

What the kid does to your round 1 deck makes for a very traumatic experience.
 
Haven't received mine either, wanted to make sure I wasn't missed, but classes start tomorrow :frown: so I wasn't planning on working on it until tomorrow evening anyways, so no need to rush :thumb:

As a note, awesome job on messing up other people's decks, I can enjoy the whining until mine arrives :tongue:
