Well a month before Idaho states one of my best friends and I were play testing decks I was pretty sure I was going to stick with my Luxchomp deck slightly modified from Cities that I went 22-3 with but then Adam (one of my best friends) Were just messing around and he mentioned we should build a PLOX deck to play. He said it as kinda of a Joke because he was looking through a Worlds Champion deck. So we build a PLOX deck and play test against LuxChomp, Scary thing was LuxChomp was loosing and we were very surprised so we plan to play PLOX instead which I found out was the better way to go since I played way to many FlyChamp decks:lol:.
Well I got there and seen alot of familiar faces but a few new ones. It was amazing to see how much Idaho's tournaments have grown over the past few years:thumb: I turn in my deck list and chill with some of the Utah players then pairings get put up. I was very excited, nervous, and to tell you the truth kinda scared.:lol:
Round 1- Richard Robey (FlyChamp)
Well I go first I start with a Ralts and a Baltoy on the bench. He starts with a Trapinch active and Baltoy on the bench. I have an amazing hand Rare Candy, Gardevoir, Psychic energy, Roseannes Research, and a Mesprit. So I attach Psychic energy to Ralts then lay down Mesprit psychic bind then I use future sight there I found a Claydol,Double Coloress energy, Bebe's Search, and something else So I put them in that order. He draws then attaches a Fighting to Trapinch then uses Professor Rowan. Then he attacks for 1. I draw evolve to Claydol Rare candy to Gardevoir then Cosmic Power for 6 then attach Double Coloress energy to Gardevoir then Psychic Lock from there he couldn't get anything going so he attaches a energy to Baltoy then attaked doing I think 40 damage to me because it was the Psychic Baltoy

Round 2- Karl Kitchen (AMU PLOX)
Well this was funny because before round 2 started I was talking to Karl telling him I hope we don't play because the mirror matches are always hard. But then we had to play I think I Jynx it :lol: (Jynx as like the pokemon) Anyways this game was very good I go Second in this game we both start with a Ralts. This match was pretty much down to who could get the Power Lock going first. Sad thing was he went first and dropped a Mesprit Locking my powers and if I would have went first I would have been able to do the same :lol: He attaches a Double Coloress energy and uses Future Sight my go. Well I play a Baltoy on the bench then attach a Double Coloress energy then Future Sight:lol: he goes and his turn was extremly long he had alot he could do. He attaches a Psychic energy to Ralts and a Expert Belt and uses a Uxie and setsup for I don't remember for how much but he puts a Moonlight Stadium out and Evovles to Kirlia retreats Kirlia for a Ralts then Future sights. I go then put out Broken Time-Space then evolve to a Gallade then attach a Psychic energy I thought I had a good setup then I play Azelf then knock out his Ralts with Pychic Cut. He brings up Kirla with an Expert Belt then uses Bebe's to search for a Gallade. He then Psychic Cuts my Gallade flipping a few prizes. I thought the game was over then. I bring up Azelf then play down a Ralts and attach a Pychic energy then say go he then Pychic Cuts and knocks out Mesprit it was going down hill from there. I bring up Ralts and draw it was a Team Galatics Wager I play it and Win I draw 6 amazings cards that turned it around for me I got a Gallade Double Coloress energy RareCandy Uxie Claydol and a Mesprit. So I play Mesprit attach Double Coloress energy Rare Candy to Gallade evolve to Claydol then set up for 7 I knock out his Gallage by flipping all my prizes and then tieing it up. It goes back and forth but I eventually got down to one Prize because he did a few Major misplays that almost cost him the game But I did one that pretty much cost me the game it happens though. Anyways we both were down to 1 prize each then my turn I get a Machamp Going with a Double Coloress energy to his Gardevoir with 2 Psychic Energy I then use Hurricane Punch and ... Flip an amazing 4 Tails which lost me the game he goes attaches an energy then attacks with Psychic Lock My turn now I needed to flip 4 heads to win so I roll a die and get a 3 then a 5 so it was over but then I rolled a 4 and a 2 I believe so if I would have atleast got 2 heads with my first Hurrican Punch I would have won. Oh well it happens :lol:

Lunch Break- Mickey D's was pretty much the place everyone went to so People had to rush over there and race to get in line it was pretty funny to watch though.
Round 3- Tina Townes (Donphan Blissey)
This match wasnt a very good one for me because after the loss in the last match I think it kinda siked me out. But I get a Machamp going first turn to her Chansey so I take that out She brings up Phanphy evovles it to Donphan attaches an Exerpt belt then plays Warp Point She switches with something on her bench I can't remember what it was though. I bring up a Ralts next turn I attach a Fighting to my Machamp then use FutureSight. She gets another Donphan going with an ExpertBelt then says go. I draw attach a Pychic energy to Ralts then Warpoint for my Machamp she brings up a Donphan then I RareCandy Ralts to a Gallade then Hurricane Punch her pokemon for 0 just my luck that day. She then uses a Uxie and sets up for a few cards then Attaches an energy to Donphan and gets uses a Luxury Ball for a Manetric and plays Roseannes for a Electrike and Fighting energy she plays Broken Time-space then gets her Manertric going then she uses Earthquakes for 80 and 10 to her Manectric. I then attach a Double Coloress energy to Machamp then Rage for exactly 140 damage I was happy because I thought I knocked it out but HAHA Sike I forgot about the pokebody she had 20 HP left she knocks out Machamp I bring up Azelf on my bench then I play Palmer's Contribution sending Machop Machamp and 2 Fighting energy back I play a Ralts and Rare Candy to a Garevoir then Tellepass Roseannes for a fighting energy and a Psychic energy I level up Azelf attach a Psychic and use Azelf Lv. X attack to place 3 damage to knock out Donphan. She brings up her other Donphan with 2 fighting energy and a Expert Belt she attaches another Energy then knocks out my Azelf I have 3 Prizes left she has 4 I bring up Gallade attach a Fighting then play Professor Elms Training Method and search for Omastar. Then I use Gallades Sonic Blade putting 9 on to her and making her switch. She brings up a Uxie then she plays down a Nidoran Female onto the bench and attaches a energy to Uxie and then attacks and bring Nidoran Female I draw play down Helix Fossil Rare Candy to Omastar knocking out her Benched Phanny that had an Expert Belt de-evovled her Manetric, Claydol and then I play team Galatics Wager then I lost then I tellepassed Roseannes and got a Psychic Energy then Pychic Cut for the win.

Round 4 Tavish Ferris (FlyChamp)
Well Tavish and I were joking around before States he is one of the many that traveled from Utah he was saying he is going to beat any deck I throw at him. Well before the game we had some people doing a report on what was going on there at states and asked who would like to wear a Head-Cam while they play the match. Tavish was selcted to wear it :lol: I was kinda nervous because Tavish one the regionals last year I went to and also Idaho hasn't had reporters before so the head-cam thing was unexpected. Anyways during our Game I get an early PowerLock going with Psychic Lock and start taking prizes and not giving him time to build up. He manages to get a Flygon going and a Machamp but the got damaged pretty bad so he kept them on the bench till he had something he could do. Tavish was kinda scambeling around trying to get it going but he couldnt draw the cards he needed. During my turn I level up Gardevoir and attach a Phychic energy I play Helix Fossil and then rare candy to Omastar devovling his Machamp and Flygon Machamp had 60 on it and Flygon did also then I used bring down which knocked out his Vibrava from there he scooped.

Round 5 Kc Hanson (FlyPlox)
Well I had a amazing start Power Lock going first turn with Mesprit second turn Psychic Lock I had a Gardevoir up and ready second turn I had a Gallade up no energy though then a Claydol but he uses Inviting Trap brings up my Claydol and for a few turns it was left up there while he was building stuff up I Finally just attached enough energy to my Claydol to retreat it but it was kinda already to late he had a Garevoir, Gallade, And almost a Flygon all fully built I couldn't really get what I needed durning the game and he was not making any mistakes He was on :fire:FIRE:fire: that day I got to give him props I was already bumbed out because I already lost one game that day and was about to loose another one which would Kill my rating but oh well win some and loose some.

Round 6 Chris Amos (FlyChamp)
He didn't get a great start and I did I got Gardevoir going within my first 3 turns using Psychic Lock knocking out his basics one after another after 2 pokemon were knocked out he kept putting random basics up and ending so I could knock them out faster I think he gave up. But I would like to say Good Job to you though Chris this was your first States you did very well at. I hope you get better from here out :thumb:

I ended the Swiss Rounds with a 4-2 record and just hoping I made it. I had a feeling I would though because my only 2 losses were to Karl and Kc who both made it into TopCut.

G1- I go first I get a Baltoy Start so I end my turn he startes with a Garchomp C he drops a Crobat attaches a energy and Energy-Gain to Garchomp C then uses a Cyrus Conspiracy for SP Rader then uses it searches for a Crobat G then Flash Bites Baltoy then Bites me with Garchomp for the DONK LOL Poor little Baltoy got bit so many times it had no chance of surviving 2 Crobats then a Garchomp I would roll over and play dead also :lol:
G2- Atleast this game went a little while longer I started with a Machop and Baltoy benched then I use Azelf and find I have 3 Ralts Prized 1-Claydol 1-Gallade And something else but I choose a Claydol then I made a horrible mistake because I sent back my Machoke I then Attached a Fighting to Machop and Attaked Luxray for 40.... He started with a Luxray but he got things going he plays a Uxie and sets up for a couple cards he gets a Lacario GL and Garchomp C and Bronzong G he uses Galatic Switch moves the Double Coloress energy from Luxray GL to Garchomp C then attaches to his Uxie brings up Uxie then uses Psychic Restore for 40 I draw into a Broken Time-Space and I had a Luxury ball in my hand so I could have got my Machamp going if I didnt put my Machoke into my prizes oh well it happens he knocks out my Machop and I bring Azelf then draw I use Night Maintainence to send Machop and a Fighting Energy back then then I Lv. up Azelf then attach an energy to it and used Azelf Lv. X attack to knock out Luxray on the bench then I took the Machoke he went then attached a Double Coloress energy to another Luxray GL then dropped a Crobat Flash bit my Azelf then retreated Uxie brought up Garchomp C Lv. up used his power then knocked out Azelf Lv. X I brought up a Ralts on my bench and then drew I drew a Machamp then I play Roseannes got a Machop and Fighting energy played out my Broken Time-Space evovled straight up to Machamp switched brought up my Machamp and attached a Fighting energy to it then used take out on Garchomp C Lv.X he brought up Crobat Played down a Shuppet evovled to a Bannet (PokePower Tempertantrum) used Galctic Switch moved the Double Coloress energy from Luxray to it then attached a Psychic then Played Cyrus Conspiracy got a PokeTurn and another Cyrus Conspiracy. Picked up Crobat brought up Bannet then flashbite Machamp then used Lonliness for 120 He pretty much won it after that
