hi, i decided to try out a different deck than dragtrode (wasnt working at all:frown: ) and i think i found one that works pretty well. im making a scizor/metagross/pidgeot deck and i need some advice on what i need to use. i have tested out a few different tactics and it seems ok, but it still has some bugs.

SMP deck

2 Scyther (UF)
2 Scizor Ex (UF)
2 Pidgey
1 Pidgeotto

1 Doexys Ex (atk)

10 draw +1 vs seeker is a lot of draw.

cut 1-2 for 1-2 more tech (oran berry, warp point)

For the Pokemon, get rid of plusle. Put one more CFF beldum in. for the energy, take out one cyclone for 2 boost enrgy. for the trainers, They seem good to me. GL with the deck:)

Just asking, does your plusle use colourless energy and what expansion does it belong to
 
Ummm..

throw it away.

If you have not heard, there is a rumored card called Arcanine EX out that is going to MAUL all scizor decks.

Arcanine can OHKO Scizor...Scizor cannot OHKO Arcanine.

You need to add some Water tech to make Scizor still viable...probably something like LM Gorebyss to defend against Arcanine.

So, somehow, squeeze in a 2/2 Gorebyss line and 4 React Energy, and, may the force be with you!

Meganium45, I agree with you about Arcanine you know killing off scizor, but you said Scizor cannot OHKO Arcanine, which is wrong. If Scizor's body is activated, it can deal 120 damage to Arcanine using it's second attack. I know, next turn, fried duck, but still.
 
thats fine. i can throw in a 1-1 line of TRR Kingdra. oh, BTW, i CAN OHKO arcanine ex, it has 120 hp.

OK Prime. Let's assume you are not a total vegetable and you are playing against a Scizor EX deck.

The choice is usually hit it for 20 or less, or knock it out.

VERY FEW fools will get it to the 60 damage level.

Those that do deserve to have their Arcanine beaten by Scizor EX,

meganium45, by no means did I mean to pretend that in a real game Scizor EX would KO Arcanine EX. All I meant was that Scizor EX COULD OHKO the arcanine EX, trying to rebuttle your statement where you said Scizor EX could not OHKO Arcanine EX and stated it as if it were fact. No disrespect, I just wanted to add a little to that.
 
i dont think arcanine will own smp. this deck not only attack with scizor, plus its getting rainbow energy, which only increases its power, being able to add a water tech(dewgong is a good idea)
