I dont think so, see again the whole ONLY 3oz OF LIQUIDS LOL rulings that airlines have... Not to mention that charter flights inside of Hawaii might charge more for heavier equipment.

no need to stack up on food in your luggage, all you need to do is when you get off the airport before going to hilton, rent a car, about $35 a day, drive downtown kona, there's a walmart, costco, target places where you can buy snacks, foods, water, toiletry stuff also there's mcdonald, jack in the box, burger king or what you can do also, drive the rent a car to the hotel, drop off your luggage, find other people that you know that wants to go to town, that way you can split the cost of the car rental or rent the car for 2 days so you can drive to the northside of the island, which you can visit the rainforest and the volcano.......

DO NOT RENT A CAR AT THE HOTEL, THEY CHARGE BETWEEN $75 TO $100 PER DAY...............................

Yes, they do have a good package rate that includes car, hotel, daily breakfast for two and some other goodies. You can even add flight if you don't have the flight booked yet. ^_^ I can't remember if posting links is against TOS or not but to be helpful here's the package:

Costco travel is a great deal

Last time worlds was in Hawaii we just booked though the Hilto nand the airlines, this time 3 years latter we booked through Costco and saved almost $1,000.00 over our last visit to the Big Island.
