The first clue makes me think of the movie of the same name. Frazier's love interest's name was eve, so i guess Eevee!

PsychoLugiaX, I didn't mean it as a personal attack, but I see your point.
Anyways, I'm thinking either Celebi or Lugia.
Celebi reason 1: a time travel pokemon.
C2: In the 4th Pokemon movie (I think), a whole load of Celebi swarm over the lake with the (almost) dead Celebi
C3: In the same movie, (evil) Celebi causes destruction over the forest and psychically binds twigs and branches together to make a giant Scyther, very much larger than the regular scyther that was chasing Celebi at the beginning of the film...
Lugia reason1: Lugia has an attack called Aeroblast (which you'll remember if you ever played Super Smash Bros Melee)
L2: Lugia is a flying pokemon
L3: nothing to do with the clue, but relating more to the person before dkates who posted clues, aka PsychoLugiaX
Any of those 2 pokemon right?
(Btw, I wouldn't mind hearing the reasons for Pidgeotto Trainer's Clefairy guess. If you don't want to post them here, can you message me or something? Thanks. It's okay if you don't want to. )

ok, dkates, lets see....Blast from el pasto eh? Since thats about the only clue i can grasp, i'll stick to that.
I'm going to say Bulbasaur. He was my starter in Blue, a blast from the past, im sure, also coinsiding with the rerelease of R/G in Japan for GBA.
And he is the first generation best starter to start with, strategically, in the game from the past. The second gen being cyndaquill, right? And the most recent generation is Treecko. Did i get that right?
As a side note, I always pick the grass starter. Except my bro/sis "accidentaly" erased my game once each and i didnt feel like starting over again, again. so since my bro had started and got further than i (Mt. Moon ooooh) i went with his file, Charmander (BOOOOOOOO!!!!!)

-It was in the early days of pokemon though I will admit isn't the likely reason.
-It can float like a balloon Up in the air.
-Every time I see Larger Than Life, I remember that old Backstreet Boys song. I don't know why. Jigglypuff can become large & sings.
BTW my Clefairy guess was also a little bit on the Backstreet song. I remember the music video because they were being attacked by aliens or something.
