I'm thinking we need some more clues. That, or we'll just start flooding with answers of EVERY pokemon there is until we get it right. lol

No. You guys are actually quite close but your all trying to hard on that clue.
 
Zangoose was already guessed by me.

Now I guess, Seviper

I looked at a chess board and noticed that F6 and C3 are both either Red, Black, or Blue, and Seviper is Red, black, and Blue.

1 it's got writing on the walls
2 i thought "F6 C3" was something on there...
3 Heh, they are VERY common in that MT place
 
No and I hope your not just guessing blindly. You guys were getting so close. Not so much on the actual guesses but you were nailing my clue. Just nailing it in the wrong direction and way too hard.

Ok....since Mt is master trainer, that must mean.....heh.

[hrms] Spinerak? & it's evolved form, Ariados? They both spin webs, in which is art. [notes there are Writing Spiders]

2. F6, C3 (Chess anyone?)
3! The mt's chose it and its family 3 times. Gengar and Weedle (their favorites) weren't given that.

Okay I think I have given too much now though I'm still waiting for someone to see it the right way.
