I just logged onto the pokemon website & on the organized play link one of the boxes says -
Last Call for Tournament Reports - Pokemon Organizes Play is preparing to finalize the ratings & rankings of all players in order to select the top 16 players in each age category to be awarded World Championship Invitations. The deadline for all sanctioned tournaments is July 16th, 2004.

This appears to mean that for the Stadium challenges this weekend they will NOT affect anyone who plays in them vying for one of the spots for an invitation.

Whan you click on the link it has this to say -
Tournament Organizers: Please ensure that all of your sanctioned events have been correctly & completely reported. Any events unreported and still pending after July 16, 2004 will be cancelled. Tournament Organizers with several such events may be subject to suspension.

Players: Please check your match histories to make sure that you have received credit for all the events that you played in. If you feel that an event is missing or is still unreported, please contact the Tournament Organizer that ran the event and ask them to report the event to POP.

... So what about any tournament that is sanctioned for say... July 24th... would a TO of that be suspended because she sanctioned it at the end of June with no prior warning... o_O'

I take it to mean that if a tournament before JULY 16 still has not been reported then that TO is subject to suspension. I also take it to mean that any tournament after July 16th will be cancelled as far a sanctioning is concerned so they can get the numbers right. I wouldn't think anything would happen to a TO that has already sanctioned a tournament after July 16th. Especially sinc they want it sanctioned at least 2 weeks in advance & this is only 3 days notice ahead of that time.

That does make more sense, it is kind of open to what they mean. Wouldn't it make more sense to just take any event sanctioned after July 16, and just put them towards the new rankings/raitings than freeze OP for two months?

True it would make sense but who said that it's frozen for 2 months?

They might only be frozen for a few days or it could be for 2 months. Thats something they need to let be known as well.

Regarding the second part - I have yet to find a way to see my under-age children's Match History!! Their stats are linked to my MyPokemon, but no there is no Match History or Tournament History when viewing their stats (unlike when I view my own stats where these items appear)...

So we'll never know if an event is missing or unreported for the children :(

At least your kids stats are linked, I have several parents with a My Pokemon but no link to their kids one.
I stopped mailing corrections, I'm tired of the whole Pokemon OP.

Obviosuly, this means that if you have a Tournement with a date prior to July 16th, and you don't report it, you could be suspended.

I am running ym first tournement on July 18th, and I hope rankings will count twords the next year!
