Translations
Chimchar L.8 - Fire - HP50
Basic

[.] Scratch: 10 damage.
[R][C] Fireworks: 30 damage. Flip a coin, if tails discard a Fire Energy attached to Chimchar.

Weakness: Water (+10)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Monferno L.18 - Fire - HP 70
Stage 1 - Evolves from Chimchar

[R] Fire Dance: 30 damage. Search your discard pile for a Fire Energy card and attach it to Monferno.
[C][C] Fury Swipes: Flip 3 coins. This attack does 20 damage x the number of heads.

Weakness: Water (+20)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 0

Infernape L.40 - Fire - HP100
Stage 2 - Evolves from Monferno

[C] Meteor Punch: Flip a coin until you get tails. This attack does 30 damage x the number of heads.
[R][R] Flare Drive: 90 damage. Discard all Fire Energy attached to Infernape.

Weakness: Water (+30)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 0

Infernape L.X - Fire - HP120
Level Up

Poke-Power: Burning Head
Once during your turn you may use this power. Look at the top 3 cards of your deck. Put 1 card into your hand and discard the other 2 cards. This power can't be used if Infernape is affected by a Special Condition.

[R][R] Backdraft: 150 damage. Choose 8 Fire Energy from your discard pile, show them to your opponent, and shuffle them into your deck. If you can't return 8 Fire Energy to your deck, this attack does nothing.

Weakness: Water (+30)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 0

Strat
Now, the whole point is to have a Infernape active w/ a Memory Berry. You do 90, then next turn, you can do Monfero's Fire Dance to attach another(Thats 120 in 2 turns if you care) After about 2 Turns/ you SHOULD be able to do Backdraft for 150. Hmm, Constraint helps with that. RGFD?

take out memory berry fr witch trust me that way you can retreat back to the bench with a blazikein or something and then next turn hit em up again

I think you should drop 2 or 3 Fire for 2 or 3 Double Rainbows. T1 80 is so useful. Get lucky and win first turn.
Considering that you are playing Ex's, I'd have to say PETM should be in this deck and not Celio's Network, or maybe a 3/1 split so you still have something to get Infernape Lv.X.
Also, Holon Lass is a great way to fill up your hand and constrain it down to get more energies to your discard pile. Try to fit 1 or 2 in, maybe by taking the Mr. Stone's Project out.
Otherwise, looks like a very good deck. Hope I've helped!

iv been testing a deck like this for a while now and its really good ; )

i dont run a starter or memory berries.

Beginning with the Diamond & Pearl expansion, the term “Basic Pokémon or Evolution card” has been replaced with “Pokémon.” When a card says to “Search your deck for a Pokémon…” it means that a
player can select any Pokémon card, including Pokémon?ex and LV. X cards. If an older card uses the
term “Basic Pokémon or Evolution card,” treat it in all ways as though it used the term “Pokémon.”
so celio would work just fine

But i figure by the time I've Energy Draw'd 2-3 times then I'll have one. No DRE'S because its doesnt count towards Backdraft. Memory Berry alows me to Fire Dance.

DRE, yes. Scramble, nope. Blaziken, nope. Delcatty ex only needs 1. 2 Delcatty PK is fine. You need more trainers imho. Memory berry is nifty, but not needed IMHO. Holon Engine might be something to look into.

I dont like the Holon Engine in non Delta Decks because Researcher(OBV) does nothing. So its smaller. I just, ugh. I'll think ab out everything else. Just not Holon Engine.

Metronoob- Celio can't get Delcatty ex

I think the positives of the DRE's will greatl outweigh the fact that it isn't a fire energy. DRE for 80 is a lot better than the lvl x's attack.

Agreed that memory berry isn't necessary. DRE's will cover that. Also, holon engine is still superior, even without researcher.

The holon engine I would run would have: Trans, Mentor, Farmer, Adventurer, Lass, and maybe Scientist. Not only is this a consistent engine to draw, grab your basics, go get energy for your attacks, and shuffle in knocked out pokemon. Not only that, but in the process of using these cards, your discarding energy too. Actually, I'd look into using Delta Chimecho with the deck if you put in a lot of holon supporters. Chimecho works well with Delcatty and would give you energy to keep discarding.

hmm, I think I might do that. I'll get a new list with the holon engine tomorrow and test it.

I've tested this againt Metanite and Bandoom

Metanite is almost an autowin just due to OHKOing and what not

Bandoom is like 50/50. If I can get setup, I'll win. If not, I'll lose.

iv tested this deck and it works really well tyler, however, i have been using the holon engine,t1 mentor is usually pretty sick ; )
