If a scenario came with a player who had active Infernape LV X with :fire::fire: attached, and 7 Fire Energy in the discard pile, announce Flare Up, and an opponent's Giratina LV X's Invisible Tentacles poke-body triggers, could the Infernape player discard an 8th fire energy through the poke-body, then proceed to successfully use Flare Up?
I just had this happen in a RedShark game.
I assume you'd be able to do that, as it seems that Invisible Tentacles triggers when I announce the attack, which is a different phase of the attack step. (Step 2, where doing the required effects is Step 3.)
