for the third time the PokéCup will take place at German Nationals as a special team event dedicated to all those who love playing the game with friends and family!

Players join as a team of three but play individually according to their age divisions. All wins count towards their teampoints (if any age division play less rounds than the other they receive bye-points) and top 16 teams receive additional prizes like medals, Wii-games, playmats, binders and boosters ...

Also there will be free Pokémon League at all three days of National Championships plus 8-Player-Draft tournaments. Join the fun, visit German Nationals 2012!

What is the format for the Pokécup?
Gameplay?
Can you play with 3 persons in Masters only???

Format: Hs on.
Gameplay: B-o-1, swiss

Every combination (3 masters, 2 masters+ 1 senior/junior, 1 masters+2 senior, etc) is possible. Best junior only team gets an additional prize.

How many players did play last year?

unfortunatly i dont know the numbers but i think ~90 masters because we had over 128 masters at day 1. some of them didnt play the pokecup because they were still in the main tournament or they wanted to watch a featured match.
