Late entries get a -3 deduction for each day they're late, I believe...

20 ways to get those 12 Unown tools out of your deck
8 ways to get them out of the discard

Really, really, not that hard to make it work...

Make it 10 ways to get them out of the discard, adding a 2-2 Drifblim.
Agreed it will cost you a turn/prize.
Mmmmmmmmmm Claydol/Amulet Coin, how fast can you go decked out?
Lapras anyone?
To bad you can only fit 60 cards in a deck LOL.

Of all Challenges in this round Mismagius and Cherrim are the most "challenging" ones.

i didnt think of unowns. >_>... my friend told me when i sent in my list.. LOL. i just made my list in like 30 mins.. had Mid terms all last week and the week before.

^12 Unown tools
8 TM's.

not hard to make it work
Really? Last time I checked, most decks don't even dedicate 20 spaces of thier deck to energy, so running such a high number for only 1 of the deck's attacks is pretty insane. With 13 energy (generous), thats 33 spaces (4-4 line=25). It sounds far from consistant, much less BDIF.

Oh well. It's now two days later. Just as a quickie, here's what I'd put together for Mismagius...

Pokemon (24):
4-4 Mismaguis
4 Unown Q
4 Unown E
4 Unown G
2-2 Claydol

Trainers (33):
4 TMTS 1
4 TMTS2
4 Lefties
4 Coin
4 Rosey
4 Bebe
4 Night Maintenance
4 TSD
1 Luxury Ball
4 Great Ball

Energy (7):
7 Psychic

Just straight up abuse of the first attack. Free for 80? Yes please! Everything in here is designed to get the Unowns out quickly, plus the added bonus of Claydol for getting the TMs and Tools out. Then, a token amount of energy just in case the second attack becomes necessary. Call probably won't be needed, as there is MORE than enough Trainers to search out whatever you might need.

A couple of things that would be nice to add:

Quick Ball
PokeRadar

But I just can't find the space for those, not with the 28 spots devoted to powering the first attack. Maybe reduce those somewhat? It'd be an interesting little recursion deck, to be sure, and this is just a 5-minute build, no thought.

Hi Bullados,

Since we could not use Luxury and Great Ball for the Iron Chef, why not 3-3 Claydol and 1-1 Drifblim instead.
2 Leftover and 1 Coin out for 4 Call nrg (4th call iso Luxury) and it should be fine.
Enough options to make this Mismagius a dangerous one I would say.

*facepalm*

Forgot about the other restriction...

OK, then why not try Quick Ball? in this deck, it's virtually the same thing, especially in the late game once your bench is full of ghosties and the space man. And the single Lux can become a Psychic. I don't see it being necessary to use that attack more than 6 times a game anyway. I'd rather it be easy to get everything into play than focusing on recovery. Plus, 3-3 gives too big of a chance of starting with Baltoy. Energy in this deck is scarce enough without wasting a drop on something that will never attack...

What was posted here was made only to proof a point -> Mismagius as sole attacker can be very good.
When you spend some more time on a list you might chance a few things (or more).

I am very curious to see the lists of the Mismagius and Cherrim divisions.
And even more on the comments everyone can make about the gradings, it's going to be fun to read.

I'm actually very interested in the Gyarados division. I wonder how somebody is going to break the first attack, or if they're just going to ignore it as anything other than a last resort...

PLEASE POST THE COMMENTS, CYRUS!!! That's the true meat of this competition, not the lists themselves. Any insight into the workings of a deck, and I'm satisfied.

Yes Cherrim lists are up, but I am a bit confused.
In my opinion 2 of the 3 lists are not focused on Cherrim, but use it as handy partner.

My take on it would have been very different, I would have taken Forretress or Vileplume as "partner" of Cherrim.
Perhaps I am totally off, but I like insane lists.
Most of all those without Claydol.
