about 40-52 cards in mewtric (and 11-12 of its 14-15 pokemons) were there just to T2 disconect opponent's rare Candy, Stadium and Transceiver....

it was near to ALL the deck could do... it could also forsee bad cards and use roselia to lure active bad stuf... sometime megashot....

All the deck was about was doing 40+disrpution.

Is 40 fast if your only goal is to KO opponent's pokemon as fast as possible? No.
But if your opponet is disrupted you just win the game...

The contest is about DECK. A deck should win. I didn't think this was a contest about "theme" or charecterfull pokemons havin a nice adventure all together!!! Deck is about winning on opponent. You do not play solo-game...

BTW nobody is willing to change his mind USA players support Ross Cawton cause he is Ross, and European player support Andceo cause he is Andceo.... i don't see a opne minded approach to the contest.

I prove you that REAL GAMES take into account opponent's disruption. If you want to negate the importance of disruption in a CONTEST ABOUT DECKS you are negating that those are deck meant to be played in a battle (even with alternative rules).
It's just like partecipate to a contest for Cars with cars without an engine inside them or without wheels....

This is my opinion.
Ross's deck seems like a Blaziken deck without windstorm, without stadiums, without warp point, ecc.
Andceo seems like a Medicham EX deck.

thats my opinion.

These past two rounds of challenges have been so complex, I've pretty much had to throw out my typical "point" rationalization, and instead simply declare a winner. It's just the superior thing to do.

Anyways...

Those of you who are saying that there's a balance of deck list and metagame are right: it isn't just one or the other.

Now don't get me wrong, all four of these lists/concepts, as well as the players who made them, are solid. But, you simply have to declare a winner in most cases.

And my final verdict in PT VS Andceo is still Andceo. Both lists generally ran well (with a slight edge to Ross in terms of getting setup, and a slight edge to Andceo in terms of getting Regigigases out); however, in terms of mastering a bizarre situation, Andceo scored huge. Not only does "win" effectively, but keeps his opponents from winning at all if the proper conditions are met (which they usually are).

Lastly, to end the topic, my verdict is Pooka in his match versus Rainbowgym, for the previously stated reasons. What Leonners said pretty much sums up my feelings on this match: we had the BDIF versus the BDIF's counter, and the BDIF prevailed as the best product.

Good going, and congrats to Pidgeotto Trainer/Rainbowgym. Very nice showing. :thumb:
