I actually don't think that Aggron is that difficult. Then again, the particular build I'm using works with virtually any heavy hitter...
 
Aggron seems like it will be fun, but I think that Walreign-ex will be even more fun. Especially seeing how it is and "Ex." LOL
 
I would have possibly made a better deck if I had the opposite challenge, but then what challenge would that be? I still hope my entry will be good enough to make it to the next round. I still think it will be. Good luck to everyone competing.
 
Wow! I realy Underestimated Walrein ex before play testing my entery Perhaps I might be T12 worthy after all! =D

I havn't take much of a look at many cards recently (last few sets)
If these last two rounds of deck building have taught me anything...its that MANY cards seem or are deemed unplayable without actully putting much thought into it.
 
Well, since I'm the procrastinator I am and was busy with State Championships all weekend (set up, play, then clean up on Sat., drive 3+ hours each way Sun. only to get home after 1AM) I never got a chance to work on a Walrein ex deck list. So I fail at life.

As you can tell, although the list makes 50% of your score, in close calls, I tend to lean towards creatiivity/card use (Flipsarecool's build of Walrein ex wasn't as good as Pidgeotto Trainer or Venusaur, but the idea was more walrein ex-oriented). I even let deck creativity/card use be the deciding factor as to which 11/20 would go onto the final round. For the record, though, this entire section performed very well, and I wouldn't expect less from a quality lineup such as this. =)

So I made it to the next round - Cool! I wasn't as confident with that deck challenge as I was with the first. But bring it on, I'm ready for the next one!
 
Yes! I made I it through to the top 12. Totally unexpected!! I look forward to the next challenge. Good luck to all those left.:thumb:

owch I failed 2 out of 3, I fail top cut and I failed life...at least Chris can say he didn't hand his in :( lol

May I ask why only 2 on card use and 2 on Creativity?
-Not complaining, just curiouse...I thought I used it quite well

as for me, Walrein ex Walrein HL 1-1 Weezing DX and 3-3 Cargo

I knew I should have went Pidgeot....my reasons against it where; another stadium hurts you, and Cargo combo's better with Walrein HL....Maybe i forgot to say that :( lol

Oppps I forgot.....MY deepest and sincieer (spelling)(Sinonime for well meaning...)(spelt Sinonime wrong aswell >.<) Congradulations to our top 12!

-13th or 14th out of 87 isn't that bad for a first timmer =D
 
I had Walrein ex/Blastoise ex/Banette ex. Blasty to speed power up, and Banette with the Holon trainer engine to work on his weakness (hopefully). Battle frontier to slow down pidgeot, and other metal pokes. Hey, I know it was a bit on the weird side, but it's original.
