Is this a real misprint?

On another forum I'm at, there's an argument whether this is a real misprint or not. I think something looks off about it, but I can't put my finger on it.

It's gotta be fake because I don't think there even was a Tentacool in Base Set 2... unless the card slipped through a fossil run

Plus the name looks like it is bolded, and not the original font.

I agree, I think the font looks off too, but they're insisting it's real. I don't know, I'll wait to get some other input before I go to them with a decision.

The fonts are that on fake cards. Same with the energy symbols. It is possible that all the faked base set 2 had fossil numberings. Whether it's as cool as Oingo boingo Weedle, a fake is a fake. Absolute $0

yup, tis a fake card. I would know a fake when i saw it, and the font on the attack seems angled compared to the rest of the card. Dead giveaway

Yeah, no doubt it's fake. At all. All three Energy symbols are whack, every single fake-card-replaceable font is wrong, the Pokemon Power is too far down (compare the gap sizes), and at a glance it looks like the attack [W] is too far down and the attack 10 is too far up in its space.

I could go on, but I'm bored with this now.
